Colour INKspiration 75 #CI75

Welcome to Colour Inkspiration!

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 2000 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a post on their blogs.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

I have had a month time out from Colour Inkspiration to reset for a bit. Life as we know it has drastically changed for all of us and I just needed a little time out. I actually have only made a total of two cards in the last 4 weeks. That is bad for me....

These colours are nice and bright and cheery and I thought yes I need this!
Challenge accepted.

I asked my daughter what stampset to use and she said that the colours reminded her of pineapples....

I love these bright colours and they all go so well together, it is on it's way to a very dear friend of mine.

Global Design Project 234 #GDP234

This weeks challenge is a sketch

It's my hubby's birthday tomorrow...

I pulled out the Clubhouse Bundle to make this and went a little different to the shapes in the sketch. They are all in the same places though.

I find it difficult to make male themed cards but because everything matches so perfectly this card came together quite easily.

  • Stamps: Clubhouse
  • Ink: Memento & Night of Navy
  • Card: Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Night of Navy, Garden Green and Country Club Designer Series Paper
  • Tools: Mango Melody, Smokey Slate, Night of Navy, Ivory, Old Olive, Colour Lifter and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends, Classic Label Punch, Golf Club Dies & Absolutely Argyle Embossing Folder with a Die Cutting Machine
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Country Club Twine

Social Stamping - Thankyou

Hello and welcome to the second Social Stamping Blog Hop with so many talented crafters around the world joining in.
My friend Kelly Kent is the mastermind behind this and she put the group together to share our creations in a time where we are all social distancing and many are in isolation. It is a very unnerving time for a lot of people as some have medical issues and loved ones who are compromised and can not afford to get ill. Creating is my sanity at the moment as I am a pretty social person and not being able to meet friends just at the coffee shop or have a card class is really hard.

So here is the next theme that Kelly has set for us and it is "Thankyou"

You have come from Kelly's blog

I have made this "Thankyou" card for a very very special lady who has been helping my mum out since she found out her diagnosis. I will pop it in the post this weekend to her...

Again I have used the lovely papers from the Ornate Garden Suite.
I am really enjoying playing with this set.
The ombre blues look great sponged over the background of the gold foil patterned papers.

  • Stamps: Ornate Thanks
  • Ink: Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue and Versamark
  • Card: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue and Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Tools: Gold Embossing Powder & Heat Tool, Sponge Brayers, Ornate Borders Dies with a Die cutting/Embossing Machine
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Ornate Garden Gilded Gems

Onto the lovely Odette to see what she has been up to this week!
