ESAD 2017 Holiday Catalogue Fancy Fold & 3D projects blog hop

Welcome to yet another wonderful ESAD blog hop! I am so lucky to be in this group of talented demonstrators and I hope that you enjoy all our fancy folds and 3D project blog hop. I haven't done a post in a few weeks as I have been on holidays with my gorgeous family to a place called Exmouth in the north of Western Australia and we got to swim with this gorgeous turtle. (It's certainly a lot warmer than at home)

You have hopped on over from my gorgeous friend Jenny Hayward.

This is the first time that I have cracked open my Christmas Quilt Bundle and here is my card.

I'm calling it a Diagonal Tri-Fold card.

It is really simple to make and fitted the Christmas Quilt Square perfectly on the top of the card base.
I didn't want to put the sentiment on the front of the card as it took away from the gorgeous quilt pattern.

  • Stamps: Sentiment from Star of Light Stampset
  • Ink:  Memento Black
  • Card: Real Red, Garden Green, Basic Black, Whisper White and Quilted Christmas DSP stack
  • Tools: Quilt Builder Framelits with the Bigshot and Scorepal
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals, Real Red Enamel Dot and Tinsel Trim

Colour INKspiration #17

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1700 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

Welcome from Rose's amazing project.

These colours are so bright and pretty and the swatch was by Tanya Bell.

As I have said before you can never have too many birthday cards!
A pretty simple card. The background I embossed with the Layered leaves embossing folder and then lightly rolled Flirty Flamingo Ink over the raised impression to give it more bold colour.

Such pretty bright colours this week thanks Tanya :-)

  • Stamps: Teeny Tiny Sentiments
  • Ink: Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist
  • Card: Whisper White, Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist, Flirty Flamingo, Tempting Turquoise and Champagne Foil
  • Tools: Layering Circles, Stitched Circles Framelits & Layered Leaves Textured Embossing Folder with the bigshot, classic label punch and sponge brayer

ESAD 2017 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

Welcome to yet another wonderful ESAD blog hop! I am so lucky to be in this group of talented demonstrators and I hope that you enjoy all our favourite products in our new and amazing annual catalogue.

You have dropped by my page via  Carly's  beautiful creation
make sure you have a cuppa handy as it is a big hop full of wonderful projects!

Well I must admit, I didn't really do a very large pre order from this catalogue. Don't get me wrong there are tons of amazing things in it that I would love to have but..... I really don't do Halloween and I don't make a lot of Chrissy cards.

I did however, purchase some beautiful papers and a few stamps one of them being the gorgeous Painted Harvest set.

Closed with belly band on top

Open to reveal the cute flower cards inside

Daffodil Delight & Crushed Curry       Crumb Cake & Cherry Cobbler

Crushed Curry & Cherry Cobbler      Crushed Curry & Peekaboo Peach

A cute set of 4 3x3 gift cards that fit perfectly into the new mini pizza boxes! I played around with colour combinations for a couple of hours and picked the ones that I liked best for these cards.

  • Stamps: Painted Harvest
  • Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Old Olive
  • Card: Thick Whisper White, normal whisper white, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Painted Autumn DSP
  • Tools: Stitched Circle Framelits with the bigshot and the Leaf Punch
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals, Burlap Ribbon and Wink of Stella
Oh I might as well add in the quick birthday card that I made for my sister in law's birthday today using the same flowers
Happy Birthday Mel x

The only extra thing that I did differently is add some lemon lime twist paper embossed with the Layered leaves Embossing folder and added a Crushed Curry Flag with the sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet from the Annual Catalogue.

Next up is Peta you will not be disappointed :-)

What Will You Stamp 131? #WWYS131

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 131.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

    Such a cute set!
This is the first time that I have used it so I incorporated into last weeks class

This is called a Box Stand Card.
Apparently they were all the rage many many years ago.

This is the card flat. When you push the top part of the panel down (near the image peeking out the top) then it will form the box. I also placed a white panel on the back of the pop up to write on.
There are a few you tube videos on how to make it.

    • Stamps: This Little Piggy
    • Ink:  Soft Sky, Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Garden Green, Blushing Bride and Daffodil Delight
    • Card: Painted Autumn DSP (sneak Peek) with Blushing Bride and Shimmery White

Welcome from the ever so talented Tanya Bell's page

This colour swatch is the lovely Kelly Kent's pick

I pulled out my Designer Series Stack and thought that the Dapper Denim paper that gradually gets lighter would be the perfect background.
I achieved this by cutting lots of thin strips of paper from the sheet of DSP and laying it, slightly moving it across and sticking it down to make the moving pattern. The double sided sticky sheets are the best to use so you don't have to keep laying glue down for each strip.

    • Stamps: Sentiment Colourful Seasons
    • Ink: Basic Grey
    • Card: Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Basic Grey, Dapper Denim and Colour Theory DSP Stack
    • Tools: Seasonal Layers Thinlits, Layering Circles Framelits and Seaside embossing folder with the bigshot
    • Embelishments: Dimensionals, Glitter enamel dots
