Colour INKspiration 49 #CI49

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1900 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

Welcome to 2019 for our first challenge from Jan's page.
(And a massive warm welcome to Jan, Cathy, Erin and Leonie to the team! I am so excited that you talented ladies have joined us and I can not wait to see your amazing creations)

This is my colour picture pick yet again this fortnight!

What Will You Stamp 206? #WWYS206

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 206.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

I really like all the words in this set although I haven't played with it much.
I have so many birthday cards to make!!

I grabbed some watercolour paper and the three inks and "smooshed" them onto a clear block randomly, then I lightly sprayed with some water and placed onto the watercolour paper to get the background for this card.

The new rectangular framelits are awesome in framing the image in an offset way. I love them!

I posted this pic on my Instagram on Saturday showing that you can colour your clear droplets with your Stampin' Blends to get more from them on a project.

  • Stamps: Amazing Life
  • Ink:  Memento Black, Versamark, Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather and Mango Melody.
  • Card: Whisper White, Basic Black, Highland Heather, Sparkle Glimmer Paper and Watercolour paper
  • Tools: Rectangle Stitched Framelits with the bigshot, White embossing powder and Light and Dark Stampin' Blends in Mango Melody, Highland Heather and Flirty Flamingo.
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Heart Epoxy Droplets

This weeks challenge is Flowers!

I think they tie in just nicely together don't you?

Here is the card I made for a very very special Stampin' Up! friend.
I am so glad this hobby of mine has brought us together, for if I never did it we would never have crossed paths.

Happy Birthday Denise!! I just hope she sees this after her birthday....

I really love the country feel of this beautiful stampset and matching framelits.
I did cut two of the background trellis pieces and pieced the shimmery white back into the background Flirty Flamingo background.

What Will You Stamp 205? #WWYS205

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 205.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

This was the first of all the saleabration sets that really appealed to me and it was most definitely the first one that I earned.

I did something a little different rather than use the whole image I thought that I would use parts of it to frame the card.
The top flower was fussy cut out and mounted on dimensionals in the corner but the bottom left hand corner I cut around the leaves and flower to slip the sentiment panel behind it.
What do you think?

I have heaps of birthdays coming up... I wonder who this one will go to???
Don't you just love the new rectangle stitched framelits? Well I do and they have just arrived in my hot little hands... I can not wait to play with them more!

  • Stamps: Lovely Lattice and sentiment from Perennial Birthdays
  • Ink:  Memento Black and Rich Razzleberry
  • Card: Whisper White & Basic Black
  • Tools: Rectangle Stitched Framelits with the bigshot and Light and Dark Stampin' Blends in Mango Melody, Rich Razzleberry, Mossy Meadow, Highland Heather and Balmy Blue.
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Linen Twine

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 203.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

I really haven't been able to participate the last couple of months as I didn't have any of the great sets that were featured. (it would be nice to have a never ending bank account but it is just not possible!)

I am back anyway for this one.

The stamparatus is the best invention to get the sentiment just right on this card.
I love it and I think I should crack it out more often.

This is a simple card but with a bit of layering and dimension it comes up pretty cute!

  • Stamps: Colorful Season (Colourful Season)
  • Ink:  Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand
  • Card: Whisper White, Blushing Bride and Wood Textures DSP
  • Tools: Seasonal Layers Thinlits with the bigshot.
