What I have been up to lately.....

Hi everyone, so sorry no posts lately but I have been so super busy organising myself for Onstage Live in Brisbane.... I fly out this Saturday so its very exciting...

I haven't been in any blog hops or challenges lately for this reason but it doesn't mean that I haven't made any cards... I have made a few..

First (in the October school holidays) my daughters school teacher was getting married. I made something a little different to my usual cards for her and I am pretty proud how it worked out. I have seen so many of these types of cards on Pinterest I thought I would put my own spin on it.

Then my daughter had her little friends birthday party to go to and she is such a gorgeous little girl who is very girly so I made her a Fairy card

Next we went to a wedding of my husbands work mate.. My gosh it was so super fun, my husband and I rocked the photobooth - here is a couple of pics of us having a wonderful night the company is called

Anyway this is the wedding card that I ended up making for them, which coincidentally was their wedding colours

Lastly my daughter had a birthday party on the weekend and the little girl who's birthday it was loves Star Wars.... So I whipped up my own BB8 card for her..

I did also go to a Baptism on the weekend but I forgot to take a picture of the card.
Let me know what you think?
I will post lots of pics after On Stage...

  • Ink:  Island Indigo, So saffron, Pool Party, Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake

Welcome from the amazing Carolyn's blog this week.
One super super talented demo who does beautiful work.

This week is a sketch.

It hasn't been the best couple of weeks for people passing away unfortunately and I do have at least 3 sympathy cards to get made.

This one is going to a friend back home who's beautiful husband passed away yesterday from Brain Cancer.

Not nice to have to make but unfortunately it is something that we all have to deal with at some stage in life.

  • Ink:  So Saffron and Watermelon wonder
  • Card: Whisper White, Watermelon Wonder, Blushing Bride and Silver Foil
  • Tools: Sunshine Wishes & Layering Squares with the bigshot

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 99

Welcome from Mercia's blog this week.

This week is sketch week

My son had his 4th birthday on the 14th of August so I used this sketch for his card.
I couldn't fit all the circles in it but there is no correct way to interpret a sketch
It wasn't quite how I thought it would turn out but he loved it anyway!

Here is his card

I turned one of the circles from the sketch into a peek hole with a T Rex inside the card...

He loves dinosaurs and I love this set!
  • Stamps: No Bones About It
  • Ink:  Memento Black, Emerald Envy, Pumpkin Pie & Tempting Turquoise
  • Card: Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Emerald Envy and Festive Birthday DSP
  • Tools: Large Numbers Dies and Layering Circles Dies with the Bigshot Machine
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals
