Sketch week

This is just gorgeous

Well I do have to admit. I wasn't very organized this week. This project was made just after midnight Sunday night after attending the AC/ DC concert in Perth.
My ears are ringing.....

Here is how I interpreted the sketch into a desktop calendar.

I am trying to think of teacher gifts so these are perfect..... now to make some more.
I hope you liked this as it has another little sneak peak from the upcoming Occasions Catalogue.

  • Card: Melon Mambo, Mint Macron, Sahara Sand, Hello Honey and a sneak peak of the new It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack
  • Tools: Bigshot with bold butterflies framelits and the Triple Banner punch
  • Embellishments: Rhinestone and mini Calendar

Sneak Peak from the upcoming Occasions Catalogue

I am excited!! Why am I excited you ask??
Well I was lucky enough to go to Onstage Local and was able to do a mini preorder before the preorder is available.

I have purchased a set that I had absolutely no interest in until I saw what the amazing Carolyn Bennie had created with it! It was now on my "Need" list

Here is a bendy card that I created with the Botanical Gardens Bundle

LOVE IT!! I am so happy with how it worked out, it was even better than what i had in my head.

Here are a couple of more angles so you can see

Just to give you an idea of the depth of the card when made up

Bendy cards do fold flat for posting as they have a little tab which makes them 3D.

I definitely will be making alot more of these.
Stay tuned for more wonderful projects and the upcoming SALEABRATION!

Available from January 5th 2016

In the meantime there is a retiring list, so go check it out before they are all gone....

A very, very challenging colour week

I must say I have never in the nearly 5 years of being a demonstrator inked Cajun Craze!!
Here is what I produced with the colours above

I coloured the stamp with my stampin' write markers but noticed my Cajun Craze had gone walkabout from my case...... That is very strange as i really don't think I have ever used it!!
I had to improvise and get a sponge dauber to colour the petals. The Tangelo Twist is there in the centre of the flower on the card.
There is a hint of a product named "wink of stella" on the petals but it doesn't show up in the picture.
Lets just say it adds a little bit of shimmer to to card.

I could have done this totally different and swapped out the Cajun Craze for the Tangelo Twist but I really wanted to use the colour that I use the least in my collection. It turned out ok but the pic shows the colour a little bit darker than in real life.
  • Stamps: You got this
  • Ink:  Pear Pizzazz, Cajun Craze
  • Card: Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz
  • Tools: Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, Tangelo Twist stampin writes and a dauber with Cajun Craze ink
  • Embellishments: Silver thread and Dimensionals (oh and a little wink of stella)

Sketch week!!

Such a busy weekend with Centrestage and Onstage Local. It was amazing!
These are the lovely people at Centrestage on Friday night I was so lucky to have had dinner and training with.
We even came home with a special gift.

Anyway as I am not allowed to share anything from the event or spoilers here is my card for this week

Yes the Crystal Effects is still wet!! Nothing like finishing a card on a Sunday night!!

I had major inspiration from Kabrina Piirlaid with this card as she posted a card i fell in love with so i thought I would do the background similar to how she did hers.

This is going out to a very special lady.

  • Stamps: Crazy about you
  • Ink:  Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Blackberry Bliss
  • Card: Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Blackberry Bliss and Whisper White
  • Tools: Bigshot with Project Life Paperclips and Hello You Thinlits, Sponge Daubers and 1 1/4 circle punch
  • Embellishments: Crystal Effects and Dimensionals

This week are pretty colours

I made a teepee card in class with my girls a month ago and I wanted to make another for one of our challenges.
What do you think?

Here is a pic inside when opened up

I had to create my own coloured dsp with the color (colour) me irresistible dsp from the main catalogue as there wasn't any to match what I wanted to do.

  • Stamps: Floral Wings  (Hostess)
  • Ink:  Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Lost Lagoon and Mint Macaron
  • Card: Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron and Color me irresistible
  • Tools: Sponges
