CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge CTC#265

This is a facebook challenge.

Here is the info for this week
Every Sunday at 7pm (AEST), there will be a new challenge where we are CASEing a section of the current Stampin' Up! catalogues.
This week we are casing Second Release of Saleabration.
You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment.

Here is the page I chose my CASE from.
page 3 of the second release Saleabration Catalogue.

My take on the card in the so colourful section top left hand corner.

Besides my mother going through cancer treatment I have a friend who is starting treatment for breast cancer.
I have made this card for her and I have a spare Hugs from Shelli paper pumpkin kit I am dropping off to her this afternoon.

It isn't a lot different to the main image just a change in colours, sentiment and I added the vellum instead of stamping the background.

  • Stampsets: So Sentimental
  • Ink: Highland Heather
  • Card: Whisper White, Purple Posy, Flowering Foils Specialty DSP & So Very Vellum Specialty DSP
  • Tools: Stitched So Sweetly Dies with a die cutting/ embossing machine.
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals and sequins from Peaceful Poppies
  • #CTC265

To see all the cards made for this week head on over to https://www.facebook.com/groups/1625891621049580/?ref=br_rs and request to join the group.

Social Stamping

Hello and welcome to the first Social Stamping Blog Hop with so many talented crafters around the world joining in.
My friend Kelly Kent is the mastermind behind this and she put the group together to share our creations in a time where we are all social distancing and many are in isolation. It is a very unnerving time for a lot of people as some have medical issues and loved ones who are compromised and can not afford to get ill. My personal story is my beautiful mother has lung & now bone cancer and it would most certainly be dire for her if she became ill during this time. The government has put travel bans in place, I have had to cancel all my classes with my beautiful ladies and that has been a very difficult pill to swallow...

So here is the first theme that Kelly has set for us and it is "Hello"
I will post this card out to someone who comments on my blog post.

I have made a card using a sneak peek of something pretty that is coming next month!

Isn't it gorgeous??
It is a whole suite called Ornate Blooms and I used the Dies, Ribbon & Designer Series paper.
There are stamps and Gems that also go with this suite.

  • Stamps: Honey Bee
  • Ink: Terracotta Tile
  • Card: Whisper White, Terracotta Tile, Early Espresso, Crushed Curry and Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Tools: Medium Daisy & 1" circle Punch, Ornate Borders & Ornate Layers Dies with a Die cutting/Embossing Machine
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Ornate Garden Ribbon

If this all works then pop on over to see my gorgeous friend Liz who is next on the hop!

The theme for this month we have focused on the Mini Catalogue and we have four awesome projects to share with you that feature some of the gorgeous products in this catalogue.

As with all my fancy fold cards it folds down to go into a C6 size envelope for posting.
