Colour Challenge Week

Its about time i put up a box card since it is the one thing I think I do well!

This week we had some really, really devastating news.
My beautiful uncle passed away suddenly he was only 50.
(my mums baby brother)
I had to make a special card for my mum x.

I spent a long time thinking about this card as it had to be just right.
I wanted to do some colouring with Stampin' Write Markers and my inks and blender pens and this is how it worked out.
The Venetian Crochet Trim I dyed with the Rose Red Stamp Pad and Reinker.... its very messy but worth it in the long run.
I hope you like it.

  • Stamps: Bloom with Hope, Hardwood and Papillon Potpourri
  • Ink:  Rose Red & Crumb Cake, StazOn, Rose Red, Crumb Cake and Old Olive reinkers
  • Card: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Rose Red and watercolour paper
  • Tools: Blending pen with Rose Red, Old Olive and Crumb Cake Inks as well as Stampin' Write Markers in the same colours, Bitty Butterfly, Scallop Oval and Extra-Large Oval punches, Bigshot with Butterflies Thinlits
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals and Venetian Crochet Trim
All these products can be purchased online through my store

Now over to Janes page to see what she has done with these gorgeous colours.
