The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 74

Welcome from Alison's page she always does the most amazing cards.

http://richesstitches.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/the-artful-stampers-blog-hop-22.html

Colours and they are really lovely

I looked back on my card and there was only a snippet of Tip Top Taupe on it
but it was used see if you can spot it.

I glued the patterned DSP to the base card and the smaller butterflies to the back of the
front matting so it looked more dimensional.

I left any greetings off this time as it can be turned into pretty much anything from Sympathy to Birthday.

  • Stamps: None
  • Ink:  None
  • Card: Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, Pretty Petals DSP stack and Sweet Li'l Things DSP

Hi and welcome to my blog.
These challenges are great.
This weeks challenge is case the designer.
How awesome is that? When you case it can be interpreted any which way you like!!

This is what I did with it, a little flip to the side and here it is.
(I had to close the card for this picture to get the full effect of the background of the shaker card)

Below is the card opened to show behind the clear window.

I hope you enjoyed my little card this week.

http://richesstitches.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/the-artful-stampers-blog-hop-22.html

Its Sketch week....

What a pretty sketch

Here is my card... A pop out swing card

Sadly a friend of mine's father passed away last week so I had to make a sympathy card.
These are the hardest to make.

My downline Rach had a card posted on her site with the Birthday Blooms stamp on it and I had said to her that I hadn't even inked it up yet so I thought that it would be perfect for this card ...

  • Stamps: Birthday Blooms & Rose Wonder (sentiment)
  • Ink:  Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz and Daffodil Delight
  • Card: Whisper White, Blushing Bride and Birthday Bouquet DSP
  • Tools: Bigshot with Fluttering Embossing folder and Circles framelits
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals & Wink of Stella.

Next on the hop is Leah this week so go check her blog out.

Hi and welcome to my blog.
This is the very first time I have participated in the Global Design Project. I saw it was balloons and I had a super cute idea for it.

I think this crab is super super cute. The shim from the clouds doesn't really show that well in the picture.

  • Stamps: You're Sublime & Balloon Celebration
  • Ink: Memento, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay
  • Card: Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black and Shine on Specialty DSP
  • Tools: Balloon Bouquet Punch

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 72

Welcome from Jane's page yet again :-)

http://richesstitches.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/the-artful-stampers-blog-hop-22.html

A number challenge this week!!! Love It!!

I had the perfect card in mind as I made something similar for a friends 40th last Saturday night.

I really love the brightness of this card and it is using some of the new glitter tape which is available as a saleabration freebie from tomorrow. (16/2/2016)

Here is the actual card that I made my friend
I couldn't really use it as my main card in this hop as it had a retired colour in it..... can you pick what it is???
One of my favourites and I hope it does make a comeback one day.

I also made her this signature book with a retired DSP and ribbons she wanted bright so that is what she got.

Supplies for the first card
  • Stamps: Number of Years
  • Ink:  Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight
  • Card: Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Watermelon Wonder
  • Tools: Bigshot with Large Numbers and circles framelits as well as the Softly Falling Embossing Folder, Flower from Itty bitty punch pack
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals, Wink of Stella, Doily and new Glimmer tape.

Go and check out Tamsin's gorgeous page I know you will love it!

Very manly colours so I made a manly card

Out came Guy Greetings from the main catalogue. All the new goodies have been shown alot lately I thought I would go back to the annual catalogue. (although I have used a stampset from the occasions catalogue on this card)

I need to make so many more men cards. That is what I am lacking.

  • Ink:  Night of Navy, Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip
  • Card: Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip
  • Tools: Sponge daubers, Deco Labels, Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits and Brick Wall Textured Embossing Folder with the Bigshot

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 70

Welcome from Jane's page again

http://richesstitches.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/the-artful-stampers-blog-hop-22.html

A nice simple sketch this week.

I thought I would keep it simple this week as well as sometimes less is more....

Here is what I came up with using my favourite colours

I'm not sure what is happening at the moment but my pics are hit and miss.
It is so so much prettier than this in real life.

I made the background using sponge daubers for the colours.
I then spritzed the flower and leaves from Grateful Bunch with water and stamped on the background.
You will see a slight watermark on the paper.

  • Stamps:  Grateful Bunch
  • Ink:  Black Memento, Island Indigo, Bermuda Bay, Wisteria Wonder and Perfect Plum
  • Card: Whisper White, Basic Black and Bermuda Bay
  • Tools: Spritzer with water and sponge daubers
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals, Wink of Stella, Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim and Glue Dots

Go and check out Annette's page I know you will love it!
