The rose petals do have a bit of colour on them with a sponge dauber to add some depth and a dash of wink of stella, but pictures don't show it well!

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 67

Well you have jumped to my page from the amazing Alisa

A sketch week this week and I have to use the Botanical Gardens set again as I am loving it!

Here is the sketch

I thought that using the flowers as the flagging up the top would work and making my own background paper as I didn't want to use the papers and colours that go with this set.

Pretty what are your thoughts?
To be honest I really did not like this set when I first saw it and then I saw some amazing things made by Carolyn Bennie so I just had to have it... I have been super happy with the cards that I have come up with.

  • Stamps: Botanical Blooms and sentiment from Balloon Builders
  • Ink:  Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey
  • Card: Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss, Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder and Hello Honey
  • Tools: Botanical Builder Framelits Dies with the Bigshot, 1 1/4 inch punch, sponge daubers
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals and wink of stella

Lets see what Leah has been up to this week

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 66

You have hopped on over from  Janes page a great fellow cardmaker/ creator.

Something Different this week we are showcasing the new Saleabration Catalogue

There are some really gorgeous goodies coming up in the Sale-a-bration catalogue.
This is one of my favorites as I don't own alot of male type stampsets.

The front of the card

The card 1/2 way slid out

All the way slid out
It has the effect that it is flying across the card which is an idea I have had in my head since I received the stampset.

  • Stamps:  Sky is the limit (upcoming saleabration catalogue)
  • Ink:  Basic Grey
  • Card: Whisper White, Basic Grey and Perfectly Artistic DSP (upcoming saleabration)
  • Tools: Cupcake Builder and Tree Builder punches
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals and 1/8' mini brad

Hop on over to Leahs blog to see what Saleabration items she used on her card.
