TGIF Challlenge #TGIF204 and SU Only Challenges #SUOC219

This week the challenge is

BLENDS!!

and SUO Challenges has a colouring challenge so use either Blends, Brusho, Watercolouring…. basically any colouring medium Stampin' Up! offers.

Easy I can combine the two!!
I made a card using our gorgeous Stampin' Blends.

I really like the ripped piece of soft suede to give it a bit of a rustic/ earthy look.

The sentiment panel at the bottom of the card I cut with the stitched rectangle framelits but it was slightly too big so I moved the framelit over so it sat just over the image for a smaller rectangle.

I can not believe that we are at the end of another great saleabration… It would be awesome if it went for longer..

  • Stampsets: Home To Roost
  • Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede and Memento Black
  • Card: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso and Bermuda Bay
  • Tools: Stitched Shapes & Stitched Rectangle Framelits and Corrogated Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with the bigshot along with Light and Dark Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake and Ivory Stampin' Blends.
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals

Colour INKspiration 51 #CI51

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1900 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

Welcome from the awesome Jacque's page

This is such a pretty colour combo and picture inspiration that I decided to make a Wedding Card with the colours.

I really like how well the water coloured, colours work together on the floral image of the cake.
It is a bit of a CAS card which I really don't make that many of.
I always seem to overcomplicate everything!

I think I will have to do more of this style.

  • Stamps: Cake Soiree and sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet
  • Ink: Mango Melody, Berry Burst, Pear Pizzazz, Highland Heather and Stayzon
  • Card: Whisper White, Berry Burst, Silver Foil, Shimmery White, Pear Pizzazz and Botanical Butterfly DSP
  • Tools: Sweet Cake Framelits and watercolour brush
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals

ESAD March Saleabration Blog Hop

Welcome to yet another wonderful ESAD blog hop!
I am so lucky to be in this group of talented demonstrators (friends) and I hope that you enjoy all our projects using items from the amazing Occasions and Saleabration catalogues .

I know you would have loved Kelly's project as she is amazing.

I thought I might make a wedding anniversary card for my hubby Brad.
We have been married 12 years yesterday!

Isn't he super cute?

This card was made with the Hey Love Stampset ($33.00), The Stitched Shapes Framelits from the annual catalogue ($50.00) a piece of the All My Love DSP ($19.25) and some smokey slate cardstock ($14.75)

If you were to purchase all the items above (and using a few items you may already have such as stampin' blends, memento ink, versamark and white embossing powder) you will be able to earn the wooden butterfly elements FREE! But don't delay we only have a few weeks left of this awesome once a year promotion that is SALEABRATION!

Its a simple card but I know my hubby will like the quirky sentiment.... (I wrote this post before giving it to him)

What Will You Stamp 209? #WWYS209

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 209.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

Well I must say this set (and Bundle) caught my eye when I first saw the Occasions catalogue.
I made a special card that I gave to my sister on the weekend.

The stamps make a great background on this card. I stamped then continued to stamp off the image on the base of the card in a repetitive way.

The pop of glimmer paper at the back I also coloured with a sponge dauber and some Coastal Cabana ink to give it a tinge to match the card.

To finish it off a pop of the Washi tape to tie in with the black Happy sentiment.

      • Stamps: Well Said
      • Ink:  Coastal Cabana
      • Card: Sparkle Glimmer Paper, Whisper White, Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Highland Heather and Mango Melody
      • Tools: Rose Trellis, Stitched Shapes and Well Written Framelits with the Bigshot as well as a sponge dauber to colour the glimmer paper.
      • Embellishments: Dimensionals, Pick a Pattern Washi Tape & Butterfly Elements
