Just add ink meets SUO challenges #JAI463 #SUOC226

Just Add Ink Challenge #463

This weeks challenge is

The challenge is Birthdays!
We always need these types of cards!

I'm pretty sure that the obvious two items I chose was the foil and ribbon for this card.

This gorgeous peacock was stamped using the stamparatus and lightly sprayed with some of the champagne shimmer mist to make it sparkly and give it a watercolour effect.

I am loving the new foil patterned papers that go with this bundle they are just stunning!

  • Stamps: Royal Peacock
  • Ink: - Bermuda Bay, Old Olive and Blueberry Bushel
  • Card: Whisper White, Old Olive and Noble Peacock Specialty DSP
  • Tools: Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Detailed Peacock Dies & Beads and Baubles Embossing Folder with a die cutting machine
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals, Champagne Mist Glimmer paint and Reversable Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Ribbon

Colour INKspiration 58 #CI58

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 2000 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

Welcome from the lovely Jan

Another stunning colour combo this fortnight.

This just screamed anniversary/ wedding/ engagement to me so I made this universal card that could be for any of the above.

Lucky I love to fussy cut as every image is fussy cut on this card.
The top panel has a touch of gold embossing powder around the edge so it didn't look so stark and white.

  • Stamps: Beautiful Friendship and sentiment from First Frost
  • Ink: Versamark, Crumb Cake & Blushing Bride
  • Card: Whisper White
  • Tools: Gold Embossing Powder
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Linen thread

What Will You Stamp 225? #WWYS225

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 225.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

I am really sad that this will be the last What Will You Stamp Challenge.
Thankyou to all who have played along I have enjoyed every minute.

Lets go out with a bang!

I love the vellum in the Memories & More pack so I decided to use it as the background of my card over the top of the base Early Espresso and Petal Pink Cardstock.

I did colour the Magnolia in with the Stampin' Blends and took a bit of colour off with the colour lifter to ad some highlight to it.

The Epoxy Droplets I coloured with the dark Petal Pink Stampin' Blend but it is hard to see in this picture.
      • Stamps: Good Morning Magnolia
      • Ink:  Memento Black, Early Espresso
      • Card: Whisper White, Petal Pink and Memories and More Card Pack
      • Tools: Rectangle Stitched & Magnolia Memory Dies with a die cutting machine as well as Colour Lifter, Mossy Meadow, Petal Pink, Ivory and Crushed Curry Light and Dark Stampin' Blends
      • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Epoxy Droplets

      Welcome from Kim's page

I did take a bit of the inspiration picture and carried it over to my card.

The flowers were coloured by stamping them into the Daffodil Delight and then sponge daubering the Lovely Lipstick around the edges.

The leaves were punched out with the Leaf Punch and the flowers and sentiment both fussy cut.
To finish it off there was a generous amount of Wink of Stella added to the flowers although you can't see it all that well in the picture.

      • Stamps: Ittty Bitty Birthdays and Floral Essence
      • Ink: Granny Apple Green, Lovely Lipstick and Daffodil Delight
      • Card: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight and Basic Black
      • Tools: Stitched Shapes Framelits with the Bigshot and Leaf Punch
      • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Wink of Stella
