Sketch Challenge

I like this challenge so I thought I would give making a card with a clear panel on it a go.
Here it is

Celebrate today stampset immediately came into my mind. I have used this for the background as well as the main sentiment and bunting.
I embossed the clear window sheet with Decorative Dots.

 Another couple of different views of this card.
I actually stamped and used the Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder to give it a glittery feel on the melon mambo balloon but it is very difficult to pick up in the pictures as is the shimmery white cardstock that I stamped the images on.

Colours and boy am I glad we got these ones!

Time to get onto that mothers day card!

I have wanted to make a screen card for a while now and here it is

 I liked this card so much I changed it colourwise (as i have stacks of Blackberry bliss and need to use it)
and my card class ladies made it on Wednesday night.

 I think I might just give this to my mum this mothers day. Lucky her she has had two beautiful cards featured in the last few weeks for her. But she is pretty special. Mums are.

Sketch Challenge

I changed the layout slightly as I didn't have enough room for the square behind the circle!! Whoops

 

It was a fairly quick card this week as I haven't been home much. 

The Blackberry Bliss looks alot darker in this picture than on the real card.

 I did stamp and cut out the newspaper and mount it so it is 3D as well as the sentiment.

Colour Challenge Week

Its about time i put up a box card since it is the one thing I think I do well!

This week we had some really, really devastating news.
My beautiful uncle passed away suddenly he was only 50. 

(my mums baby brother)

I had to make a special card for my mum x.

 I spent a long time thinking about this card as it had to be just right.
I wanted to do some colouring with Stampin' Write Markers and my inks and blender pens and this is how it worked out.
The Venetian Crochet Trim I dyed with the Rose Red Stamp Pad and Reinker.... its very messy but worth it in the long run.
