What Will You Stamp? WWYS#109

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 109.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

This weeks set is Balloon Adventures

I really wanted to make a side waterfall card for my girls class tonight so I sat and measured and fiddled all night last Monday night to get something to work. I watched Bibi Camerons YouTube tutorial just so I could see her layout but my measurements are totally different to hers.

Here are a series of pics of the card as the tab on the right is pulled.

I really hope you like it, I am sure my girls will when they do class tonight :-)
The card does open also so you can write a message on the inside for the recipient.

Colour INKspiration #06

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which has over 1000 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

You have come from the awesome Bronwyn Eastley's Blog

My Gosh these colours are gorgeous, but then again all the colours each fortnight have been amazing!

I had a totally different idea in my head to what I actually made.
Here it is anyway.

One of the families from school is leaving this week which is super sad as their son has been in my daughters class for the past 2 and a bit years.
I made this card and box (with a little gift) for his mum.

I am sure she loved it. They will be dearly missed.

The flower has been stamped off 2 times with the base layer, 1 with the next layer and the top outline layer was directly stamped.

  • Stamps: Penned & Painted
  • Card: Night of Navy, Pool Party and Whisper White
  • Ink: Calypso Coral and Night of Navy
  • Tools: Envelope Punch Board and Layering Circles framelits with the bigshot
  • Embelishments: Gold Metallic Foil Doilies, white Lace Doily, Dimensionals, gold wink of stella and Gold Ribbon from Saleabration

What Will You Stamp? WWYS #108

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 108.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I had last week off as I didn't have the stampset and I really missed doing it!

                Dragonfly Dreams

This is another set I was lucky enough to get before onstage to have a play with!
I don't think I will ever part with it....

This is the card I made just using the Bees and the background stamp.

It is really sparkly in real life.

I made a rectangle mask and used sponge daubers with the Crushed Curry and Delightful Dijon to make the background colour then I put the Crumb Cake ink pad to the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions folder and pressed to the card to get the hexagon shapes on the background.
A nice and simple CAS card.

                • Stamps: Dragonfly Dreams
                • Ink:  Crushed Curry, Delightful Dijon, Crumb Cake and Memento
                • Card: Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Basic Black and Gold Glimmer Paper
                • Tools: Mask (made from a sheet of whisper white) Detailed Dragonflies Thinlits Dies with the bigshot and Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Folder
                • Embellishments: Dimensionals

                Global Design Project #078

Feeling a little creative today so I grabbed the sketch from Global Design Project and had a play with it.

I have seen so many dome style cards lately I thought I would make one myself.... but I made it so it was a bit like a bendy card so it lays flat when posting.

This is what I came up with... I surprised myself!!

Perfect for a wedding or an engagement card.

The side view there is only a small bend in the front.

Front fully open to show underneath the heart cut out.

                • Card:  Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Falling in Love DSP and Silver Glimmer Paper

                Just Add Ink #350

                Just Add Ink Challenge 350

I have been a bit slack this week so I thought I had better get my mind active and do a challenge or two.

This weeks Sketch Challenge over at Just Add Ink

I had an idea in my head when I saw this so here it is

I love black and white and with a pop of colour it sets things off.

The base of the card was white embossed but the top just stamped in black Memento ink.
I love a bit of fussy cutting so I fussy cut the flower image after I coloured it with an Aqua Painter.

                              Delicate Details

This set is in Saleabration and it yells out Vintage to me!
Something I am not confident with as I am more of a bold type of person.

Here is what I ended up making.

I thought a rainbow style lace would look nice and bright and cheery mixed up with a doily, ribbon and glimmer paper .

ESAD 2017 Last Chance Saleabration & Occasions Blog Hop

Welcome from the gorgeous Andrea's blog.
You haven't come too far as she lives in West Australia as well as me.

I had a couple of new team members join in the last couple of months so I made them cute little custom T cards.

Its really hard to capture the sparkle in the glimmer paper. These cute little T-shirts sit really nicely over the Make a Medallion Stampset.

I also thought I would use it and team it up with the in the lines DSP paper from Saleabration.

Using mini stamps within a set repeated over the card makes a gorgeous background for any card.

Items used for both sets of cards

                              • Stamps: Custom Tee, Make A Medallion
                              • Ink:  Memento, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum and Bermuda Bay
                              • Card: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango and Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay and Mint Macaron Glimmer paper from Saleabration
                              • Tools: Watercolour Pencils with a blender pen, Layering Circle Framelits and T-shirt Builder Framelits Dies with the bigshot
                              • Embelishments: Dimensionals
I hope you are enjoying the projects on today's hop.
There is less than a month to get yourself a hold of them.

Next on the hop is Kim who I was lucky enough to meet at Onstage in Brisbane in November, she is extremely talented.
