Coour INKspiration 48 #CI48

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1900 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

Welcome from Nikki's page

This is my colour picture pick this fortnight again!
I was on a little pinterest picture picking roll.

I thought long and hard about these colours and went back to our onstage theme of #simplestamping

Cards don't have to be complicated.
That is my issue, I really do try to add a bit too much at times so this is it! One layer pretty much paper, ink and a stampset!
Great for the beginner or first time stamper don't you think?

This is a saleabration "Freebie" stamp available on the 3rd of January! I know it will be popular.

  • Stamps: Hello Cupcake
  • Ink: Bermuda Bay, Tranquil Tide, Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride
  • Card: Whisper White
  • Tools:  None!
  • Embellishments: None!

Just Add Ink 438 #JAI438

Just Add Ink Challenge #438

This weeks challenge is a colour one

I chose my third colour as Highland Heather

With this card I stamped the background butterflies and roughly coloured around the background with the light Granny Apple Green to make my own DSP.

It is actually a lot prettier in real life as the little butterflies are shimmery as they have wink of stella on them. (and the lovely lipstick looks quite dark in this pic)

Hopefully my sister isn't following too closely as its her birthday in a couple of weeks and I just might give her this card :-)

  • Stamps: Butterfly Gala and Itty Bitty Birthdays
  • Ink: - Memento Black, Highland Heather, Granny Apple Green and Lovely Lipstick
  • Card: Whisper White & Lovely Lipstick
  • Tools: Be Mine Stitched Framelits with the Bigshot & Butterfly Duet Punch
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals, Wink of Stella and Gingham Gala Adhesice Backed Sequins

ESAD Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

Welcome to yet another wonderful ESAD blog hop!
I am so lucky to be in this group of talented demonstrators (friends) and I hope that you enjoy all our projects using products from the Holiday Catalogue for quick and easy cards, tags and packaging.

You have hopped on over from Delys

I have had a couple of quick end of year gifts to make so I whipped these up the other day.

This gift belly band tag was made for my daughters Tennis coach as it was her last lesson for the year last week.

This was a little tag to add to a gift for a lady who purchased from me this month.
I know she was pretty keen to try out the shimmer paints so I have gifted her this little pack as a thankyou.

  • Stamps: Dashing Deer
  • Ink: Cherry Cobbler
  • Card: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler,
  • Tools: Stitched Shapes & Detailed Deer Framelits with the bigshot

Welcome from the lovely Kim's page

This is my colour picture pick this fortnight!
Aren't the colours amazing? They are all new this year too!

I loved this picture as it reminded me of my own wedding (my bridesmaid dresses anyway)

Here I am with my beautiful sisters Lisa, Leanne and Sonia (my step sister and friend)
"sigh" feels like forever ago!

Anyway back to the task at hand, I made another pocket card for this challenge.

I love these colours together so much!

My class ladies made this card way back in September.
So simple and I followed Jackie Aitkens tutorial for the card base. It is super easy to use!

You can get two tones of colour from the one inkpad like I have above with the Gorgeous Grape and Lovely Lipstick Inks.
I have stamped off first for the lighter base image then stamped the second image over the top.
The bouquet bunch framelits are so easy to use and put together inside the jar.

  • Stamps: Graceful Garden, Jar of Love & Beautiful Bouquet
  • Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Lovely Lipstick, Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue and Black Stayz on
  • Card: Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Lovely Lipstick, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Blueberry Bushel and Vellum
  • Tools:  Everyday Jars, Stitched Shapes and Bouquet Bunch Framelits with the bigshot,
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals
