ESAD 2018 Retirement List Blog Hop

Welcome to yet another wonderul ESAD blog hop!
I am so lucky to be in this group of talented demonstrators (friends) and I hope that you enjoy all our projects using retiring products from the current Annual and Occasions Catalogues

You have hopped on over from the lovely Courtenay's page.

Yes it is very exciting that there is a new annual catalogue due out soon but it is really sad to say goodbye to some of our favourites.

Well I can't say that this was my favourite bundle in the annual catalogue but I did love it from the first time I saw it! This is the first time I have actually made something with it. I used the retiring Perfect Plum & Elegant Eggplant as well as the Myths and Magic glimmer paper.
I may be a bit naughty and actually have a few uninked sets still that are retiring......

  • Stamps: You Move Me (retiring)
  • Ink:  Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant (both retiring)
  • Card: Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, Myths and Magic Glimmer (all retiring) and whisper white
  • Tools: Layering Square Framelits & Move Me thinlits with the bigshot as well as the Circle Tab Punch
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals

and I have also made a card (for an order, the engagement party was last night good timing) that has a returning colour as well as a new colour and an outgoing stampset!

  • Stamps: Heart Happiness (retiring)
  • Ink:  Coastal Cabana (returning) & Lovely Lipstik (new incolour)
  • Card: Coastal Cabana, Lovely Lipstick, Whisper White and Silver foil
  • Tools: Sweet & Sassy Framelits (retiring) & Softly Falling Embossing Folder with the bigshot
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals and Wink of Stella

arrggghh my favourite heart framelits are retiring!! I can't believe it!

Colour INKspiration 32 #CI32

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1850 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

This combination is just stunning together!

I pulled out a new set for this fortnights challenge, isn't it pretty?
These colours are just beautiful together. The gold foil is really shiny on this card and the wink of stella on the flowers is sparkly. It is so much better in real life.

I would like to say a massive congratulations and welcome to the Colour INKspiration crew Kim Oliver you make beautiful projects.

Onstage April 2018 - Presentation & Display Board Showcase

Welcome to our little blog hop featuring Presenters and Display Board stampers at this Aprils Onstage. I was lucky to be a Display Board Stamper in Perth Western Australia.

You have hopped on over from my friend and amazing crafty creator Jackie.
(Who funnily enough was placed above my samples at onstage see pic below!)

Where do I start? I had lots of goodies in my secret squirrel box including the Animal Outing Stampset (yes I am lucky I now have two) and the matching Animal Friends Thinlits Dies alongside the Frames Elements and Leaf Ribbon.
Here are the projects I made with this set.

This is by far my most favourite project and from what I could see it was the most photographed on the day.

This giraffe is super cute too, great for a notecard.

I really am loving that there are little Aussie animals in this great set so I do love the Kangaroo with the Koala peering out his pouch!

Next Up was the controversially named Rooted in Nature Set which is very similar to our Lovely as a Tree. I also had a bag of the Tropical Elements accents and the new Glitter enamel dots which I used on a couple of cards here.

I have actually never purchased Lovely as a tree and never been much of a fan of the tree style stamps so this was a little bit of a challenge for me. I loved creating these cards!

The hostess set named Hand Delivered was the last stampset in my box. I teamed it up with some current product as well as the 6x6 in colour designer series paper and some of the ruffled ribbon that is also in the upcoming Annual catalogue.

The last item in my box was the Tropical Thinlits and as you can see from the samples above (Rooted in Nature and Animal Outings) it went well with both of these sets.
Here are further small samples with the thinlits on their own and lastly a scrapping page.

I thoroughly enjoy doing this.
I had a chance back in 2016 in Brisbane (as well as presenting) and I hope that one day I get the chance to do it again.

Next Up on this amazing hop is Tanja Kolar

What Will You Stamp 164? WWYS164?

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 164.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

I am really pushing it fine this week as I have been a little unwell and it is now school holidays so I need to find something to occupy the kiddies while I create.
I hope you enjoy my creation using Petal Palette and the framelits as well as the paper and framelits  that go with this beautiful set.

I am still loving the Stampin' Blends and I know that they are still unavailable at the moment due to high demand but believe me when they come back in stock I will be purchasing more! They are so easy to use and look amazing too.

Pull out this set from your stash too and get creating. I can't wait to see what you make with it!

  • Stamps: Petal Palette (Happy Birthday is from an upcoming stampset in the new annual catalogue called Detailed with Love)
  • Ink:  Memento Black and Rich Razzleberry
  • Card: Whisper White, Glimmer paper from Myths and Magic and Petal Passion DSP
  • Tools: Petals and More Thinlits as well as the stitched framelits with the Big Shot, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie,  and Old Olive Stampin' Blends
