Colour INKspiration 104 #CI104

Welcome to Colour Inkspiration!

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 2300 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a post on their blogs.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

I love a bit of black, white and a pop of a colour!

I wanted to be a bit bold as bold is what I like! The background is Cherry Cobbler and the flowers are fussy cut from the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper (Saleabration FREEBIE available next month for orders over $90)

To add a little bit of texture to the background I then ran the card base through the Stampin' Cut n Emboss Machine with the Tasteful Textile Folder.

I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Remember to upload your cards to our facebook group here!

I think that all these gorgeous in colours look great together don't you?

I went for a clean and simple style card for this colour challenge as I needed to scale back how much I was popping on my cards.

The leaves are stamped directly onto the white background and then it was embossed for a little texture. The daisy is popped up on two lots of dimensionals.

I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Remember to upload your cards to our facebook group here!

The Dimensionals - Plants and Trees

Welcome to my blog and to The Dimensionals tutorials and we are now into our second year creating great 3D tutorials for you

We’re a group of Stamping Friends who offer 3D Paper Craft Tutorials on the 1st day of every month
I am so super excited to be a part of a group of such talented ladies and I pinch myself on how I got here.......

The theme for this month is Plants and Trees

From today we are slowing the pace a little and have decided to publish bi-monthly tutorial bundles. Next month we'll still be blog hopping on the 1st of August at 10pm AEST but won't be introducing a new tutorial bundle, instead we will be recreating our projects from today's launch with different products. (to show the versatility of each bundle) We are really looking forward to having the extra time to create alternative projects over a two month period and showing you other ways you can use our 3D card designs.

This is my
Window Corner Card

Loving that we have such great Designer Series Papers that we can use as the star of our cards!

Over to yet another amazing project from Bronwyn

Global Design Project 298 #GD298

Looking at the sketch this week I immediately had an idea.
If it worked out was another thing.....

It worked but it was quite hard to photograph as the Thankyou sentiment panel is actually Evening Evergreen.

The background was quite simple using the soft pastels assortment in the Evening Evergreen and Granny Apple Green scribbled on the Basic White panel and then embossed with the Stitched Greenery Die.

The plants were stamped with Granny Apple Green and a touch of Evening Evergreen using a sponge dauber directly onto the stamp for the two tone effect.
By adding a couple of the Expressions in ink Ephemera Pack Gold Leaves it really has set this card off.

  • Stamps: Plentiful Plants
  • Ink: Granny Apple Green, Calypso Coral, Evening Evergreen and Versamark
  • Card: Basic White, Granny Apple Green & Evening Evergreen
  • Tools: Perfect Plants, Stitched Rectangles and  Stitched Greenery Dies with a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, White Embossing Powder with a heat tool, Soft Pastels Assortment & Sponge Daubers
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals and Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack
