Global Design Project 227 #GDP227

This weeks challenge is

Straight away I had an idea with this but it has nearly taken me the whole week to make it!

The Fold is called a Pop Up adapted Easel Card and the base of the cards instructions were made by Lou Kitzleman.

Really pretty, not hard and I will most definitely be making more of these cute cards!

They even fold flat to go into an envelope.
This particular card is slightly longer than a C6 envelope but I can fit it into a C5 or a DL size envelope.

  • Stamps: Daisy Lane, Happy Birthday to You and Painted Harvest
  • Ink: Memento, Poppy Parade, Flirty Flamingo and Mango Melody
  • Card: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Mango Melody, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo
  • Tools: Rectangle Stitched Dies and Stone & Coastal Weave Embossing Folders with a Die Cutting Machine as well as the Medium Daisy and Leaf Punches
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Clear Faceted Gems

Colour INKspiration 71 #CI71

Welcome to a new year of Colour Inkspiration!

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 2000 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a post on their blogs.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

Such pretty colours I knew just what I wanted to use to make my card.

Gorgeous!
I fell in love with the Positive Thoughts set as it was pretty vintage looking and even though this card isn't vintage I have a bit of a challenge with these style of cards.

  • Stamps: Positive Thoughts
  • Ink: Highland Heather, Pear Pizzazz & Grey Granite
  • Card: Whisper White, Grey Granite and Pool Party
  • Tools: Stitched Rectangle & Natures Thoughts Dies with a Die Cutting Machine and Pool Party and Highland Heather Stampin' Blends
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Rhinestones

Addicted to CAS #177

Addicted to CAS #177

This fortnightly challenge is

I did a little squeal! Such a pretty technique I used a die still sitting out on my desk and it is perfect as Valentines Day is fast approaching...

I really love the light to dark in the pink/reds and it was such a simple card to make!
The hardest part is blending the colours in the Ombre effect with the sponge brayers! It can take a little time but it looks amazing!

  • Stamps: None
  • Ink: - Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler
  • Card: Whisper White, Vellum and Basic Black
  • Tools: Detailed Hearts, Stitched Be Mine & Well Written Dies with a die cutting machine as well as Sponge Brayers

The Dimensionals - Saleabration

Welcome to my blog and the launch of The Dimensionals.

We’re a group of Stamping Friends who will be offering 3D Paper Craft Tutorials on the 1st day of every month starting TODAY!
I am so super excited to be a part of a group of such talented ladies.

The theme for this month is SALE-A-BRATION and we have four awesome projects to share with you that feature some of the FREE SAB products and/or NEW coordinating products.

Unlike many tutorial bundles on offer, you’ll see exactly what you’ll be getting in this bundle as we take you on a mini blog hop with each designer.

This month I've concentrated on the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper and made my own version of a pop up slider/ shaker card.

I have called it the Golden Honey Pop up slider/shaker card.

A fun interactive shaker card which will also slide down flat for posting.

Now it’s time to hop on over to the beginning of our group to Bronwyn
to check out her amazing card.
