You have come over from Alisas creation

http://richesstitches.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/the-artful-stampers-blog-hop-22.html

This week it is a cute sketch

I have been wanting to use the "Something Borrowed DSP" for a while now so this idea popped into my head

Here it is

It could be used for anything wedding, birthday, mothers day or sympathy.
(Although in real life it looks much prettier than this as the card has come out a little dark in this pic.)
I wrapped the lace around the flagged background.

· Stamps: Butterfly Basics
· Ink: Sahara Sand
· Card:  Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Something Borrowed DSP
· Tools: Bigshot with Butterflies thinlits, Rotary arm for trimmer with small scallop blade
. Embellishments: Dimensionals, Sahara sand lace trim & Rhinestone

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 23

Here we are at blog hop number 23, my those last 23 weeks have flown by!

You have come over from Janes project

http://richesstitches.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/the-artful-stampers-blog-hop-22.html

This week it was colours again and I love these together

I have seen the celebrate today stampset used in many ways. I like the 3d effect as a hot air balloon

Here is my card

I took a picture side on to show the depth of the balloon. It folds flat into an envelope for posting.

It was quite a simple card this week as I had been away (due to a long weekend last Monday) and a few social events this week. I cut 3 balloons for this card and embossed with the Argyle embossing folder to give a bit of texture.

· Stamps: Celebrate today
· Ink: Memento Black, Rich Razzleberry
· Card:  Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry and Maritime DSP
· Tools: Stampin Write markers - Crushed Curry & Bermuda Bay, Argyle impressions folder, Balloon Framelits and Bitty Banners Framelits with the bigshot
. Embellishments: Dimensionals

All these products can be purchased online through my store

The Artful Stampers Blog Hop Challenge 22

You have come over from  Janes page
http://richesstitches.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/the-artful-stampers-blog-hop-22.html

Sketch week!

I fell in love with the hostess stampset "Nuts about You" so I thought I would use it this week.

Here is my card

Super cute for someone who is having a bit of a hard time.
I really tried using colours I don't tend to use alot and they are the Garden Green and Tangerine Tango.
The tree looks like bark as I coloured it with Stampin Write markers and "huffed" on it. It didn't come out flat but then it has texture as it is just the way it worked out and it seems to have worked well.

·  Stamps: Nuts about You
·  Ink: Garden Green, Memento Black and Baked Brown Sugar
·  Card:  Tangerine Tango, Garden Green, Whisper White, Crushed Curry and Flowerpot DSP
·  Tools: Stampin Write markers - Garden Green and Chocolate Chip, Ornate Tag Topper Punch, 2/3' circle punch, 7/8' Scallop circle punch and flower from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack
. Embellishments: Rhinestones, Painted Blooms Cotton Twine, Dimensionals

All these products can be purchased online through my store
