Onstage Brisbane 2016 - Saleabrate Occasions

Well here we are just after a very very exciting week away with my mum.

A few months ago Stampin' Up! head office put a call out for display board stampers for Onstage Live in Brisbane. I thought well what do i have to lose??? Absolutely nothing at all... If they like my work great and if they didn't that is totally fine with me too......

I was very excited to receive an e-mail to say I was successful WOW!! They did like what I can do! Well I was not expecting to receive a phone call a week later asking if I would like to present at Onstage Live!!!! Whaaaattttt? Me???? My instant reaction was to say no way no I can't do it but I said "Can I please think about it? " I had one sleep............................ I called the lovely Donna back the next morning and said "Why not? It is so out of my comfort zone I will do it!!"

Oh my goodness... I had butterflies the minute I hung the phone up! This was late June and I had till November to prepare myself....

I had a couple of boxes of gorgeous product arrive in about August this year so it gave me a chance to have a play.... oh and I was still doing the display board stamping too... This meant that I needed to make around 30 samples for the big event!!! No problems, I can do this!

After many many 1am nights (which I really do enjoy the peace) I finally finished my samples.

This is why you are here today... To see the beautiful products I was so lucky to have had a play with from my presentation - Saleabrate Occasions

The first set was the Lift me Up Stampset and The Up and Away Thinlets with the gorgeous Carried Away Designer Series paper.

I fell in love with this set straight away

I think this one has to be my favourite sample from this set.

hmmm I could be mistaken...

 Its great for 3D items

I had so many ideas floating around in my head...

My son would be pleased...
I could have just kept making beautiful things with it but I did have to move onto my next suite

Dragonfly Dreams - with the Dragonfly Dreams Stampset and the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies
using the In the Lines Saleabration free paper.

I think that I was the luckiest of the presenters to get TWO gorgeous suites

 Just using the thinlits

Using both thinlits and the two step stamp

It looks gorgeous in our foil sheets

The black magic technique using our new watercolour pencils

The "in the lines" saleabration paper with the new watercolour pencils

The make and take at the end of the session

My friend Renae Crosby took this one on my camera... It was my very first presentation and I was super nervous.

Thankyou to Christine Hajjar for taking the last two pics.... This one is a look of relief.

I have so much more to post so I think I might have to do it over 3 posts :-)
