Colour INKspiration #15

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1600 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

You have hopped on over from our awesome guest designer Erin Gunson

I am very happy to say that this colour swatch is my one!

EEEEEKKKK!! Now to do it justice!

I made one of my old faves.... an easel card

Side view

Laid flat fully closed.

So here it is! My cute floral arrangement easel card...

This card I tried to be a little tricky.
I cut the jar framelit from the crumb cake, stamped the jar onto the vellum and attached it to the back of the crumb cake panel.
There is an extra white piece behind the vellum with the water stamped onto it.
I very very carefully cut a small slit above the stamped jar on the vellum and slid the stems into the jar to make it appear as if they are inside.
The linen thread was also very carefully cut into the sides of the jar to make it look like it is wrapped around the jar.

The middle flower on the inside of the card is popped up on a dimensional so it acts like a stopper for when the card is fully open.
This would have to be one of the easiest styles of cards to make.
  • Stamps: Beautiful Bouquet and Jar of Love
  • Ink: Basic Black, Elegant Eggplant, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay
  • Card: Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, Lemon Lime Twist, Crumb Cake &Vellum
  • Tools: Bouquet Bunch & Everyday Jars Framelits with the bigshot
  • Embelishments: Dimensionals, Linen Thread and wink of stella

Jump on over to Julia, I know you will love it!
