What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in. You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has nearly 1900 members and see what it’s all about.
Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook. The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.
This is going to an amazing friend of mine as a massive thankyou for something she did for me last week and I am forever grateful!
Did you know that the thinlits from Animal Friends match the DSP in Animal Expedition?
That is what I used for the already pre-coloured Rhino!!
- Stamps: Best Birds, Animal Outing
- Ink: Crushed Curry
- Card: Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Silver Foil and Animal Expedition
- Tools: Animal Friends & Apron of Love with the bigshot, 2 1/2" circle, Leaf & triple banner punches, Crushed Curry & Basic Grey Stampin' Write markers.
- Embellishments: Rhinestones and Dimensionals
Next up is Kim's take on this colour combo
Totally love everything about this card - you nailed it! Kelly x
ReplyDeleteNicole, I didn't realize the framelits coordinate with the DSP - you're an enabler now! The use of that grid/linen stamp from Best Birds to texturize the card base is the best use I've seen of that image. Thanks for lots of great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI love your card this week Nicole, and understand about not being 100%! I knew these colours would be great with Animal Outing!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Nicole. This little rhino is perfect for the use of these colours. Super cute <3
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool card and a perfect use of the colours. I adore Mr Rhino and I was also thrilled to discover the framelits fit the DSP.
ReplyDeleteLOVE how you have used that stamp from Best Birds - too clever, not to mention that you ACED the colour combo.
