Inspire.Create.Challenge 48 #48

I saw the challenge on this blog and thought perfect!!

I always need birthday cards and I'm always making them so I thought I would pop up the most recent card/s that I have made.

There was no waste from this card. I made a second.

I have made a few floating frame cards over the last month so I decided to show my class ladies how it is done.... Its a little time consuming but oh so effective and as soon as I saw Bloom and Grow in the annual catalogue I knew I wanted to make these.

  • Stampsets: Bloom & Grow and sentiments from Painted Glass and Beautiful Friendship
  • Ink: Memento Black
  • Tools: Press and Seal and Stampin Blends in Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron and Old Olive. Rectangle Stitched Framelits, Stitched Shapes and Budding Blooms Dies with a die cutting machine.
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals

Colour INKspiration 60 #CI60

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 2000 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

Welcome from the very talented Tanya's page

Such bold colours I thought I would grab some of the new foil and see what it looks like on one of my Lanyards.

It is very difficult to see how shiny this is in real life but take my word for it the foil papers are just gorgeous as beads.

I have made my own paper rollers in different sizes with a lot of trial and error.
Finally I have the perfect sizes for both my lanyards and keyrings.

  • Stamps: none
  • Ink: none
  • Card: Petal Pink, Terracotta Tile and Noble Peacock Specialty DSP
  • Tools: paper roller (handmade)
  • Embellishments: sealer and varnish, cord and keyring.

Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! #AWLSU033

I was busily making my daughters birthday card for next Thursday and used a bit of ribbon on it....
    Perfect for this months challenge!!

As soon as I opened my very first order from the new catalogue my daughter grabbed this stampset out and asked me if I could pretty please make her birthday card with it!

Here's What I came up with. I used the Stampin' write markers on some glad wrap and wet the cardstock, carefully placing the glad wrap on top of it to get the background.
Wait for it to dry then stamp the unicorn image.
Grab your bleach and a brush and carefully take off the colour from the Unicorn. It will bleed slightly but I think that adds to the effect!

    • Stampsets: Make a Difference and Leave a Little Sparkle
    • Ink: Stayzon, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point and Grapefruit Grove.
    • Card: Whisper White, Shimmery White & Basic Black
    • Tools: Glad Wrap, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay and Highland Heather Stampin' Write markers, water spritzer and bleach with an aqua brush or a fine paintbrush
    • Embellishments:  Dimensionals, Red Rhinestones and Noble Peacock Rhinestones as well as in colour 2018-2020 ribbons
    • #AWLSU033
