Social Stamping - Sympathy

Hello and welcome to the now monthly Social Stamping Hop.

My friend Kelly Kent is the mastermind behind this and she put the group together to share our creations in a time where we were all social distancing and many were in isolation. It was very unnerving time for a lot of people as some have medical issues and loved ones who are compromised and can not afford to get ill. Creating is my sanity at the moment as I am a pretty social person and these past few months were a little bit of a struggle.

This week oh my gosh, I want to go back to iso...... Mondays, I play netball, Tuesdays is Kyla's netball training & Logan's basketball training, Wednesday is Kyla's basketball training and both kids have swimming lessons, Thursday, Kyla plays basketball, Friday, Logan plays basketball, Saturday is Auskick and Netball and every second Sunday hubby plays football.................
life is very very busy again!!

You have come from the lovely Julia's page this week

So here is the first monthly theme that Kelly has set for us and it is "Sympathy"

I decided to make another one of my Easel Flip Cards for this hop.

It is a pretty easy fold once you get the hang of it.

Die cuts are such an easy  and quick way to decorate a card front.
I discovered the Poppy and Peony are very similar in size so this worked out perfectly for this card.

  • Stamps: Sentiment from Peaceful Moments & Painted Poppies
  • Ink: Poppy Parade and Cinnamon Cider
  • Card: Cinnamon Cider, Poppy Parade, Basic Black, Mango Melody, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Whisper White and In-color 2020-2021 DSP stack
  • Tools: Painted Labels, Poppy Moments, Ornate Boarders and Stitched Nested Dies with a Die Cutting/Embossing Machine
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals and Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Hop on over to Lisa to check out her card for this month.

Colour INKspiration 82 #CI82

Welcome to Colour Inkspiration!

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 2200 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a post on their blogs.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

These colours this fortnight are so so pretty!

I just received a new stampset in the mail and I am in love with it!! It is Robyn Cardon's design for her Million Dollar Stampset and it is so so freaking cute!!

Using a splash of Brass Foil and the new Water Brush Pens, I think this card is pretty cool and so do my kids!

  • Stamps: Hippo Happiness
  • Ink: Memento Black, Melon Mambo and Just Jade
  • Card: Whisper White, Just Jade, Basic Black and Brass Foil
  • Tools: Hippo & Friends, Tasteful Labels and Stitched Stars Dies with a die cutting/ embossing machine and Water Brush Pens

Social Stamping - Change

Hello and welcome to the weekly Social Stamping Blog Hop with so many talented crafters around the world joining in.

This week we are nearly back to normal... We have just been informed that swimming lessons will be starting back up from next week. All our sporting commitments are back on track straight after the school holidays!! We are pretty lucky to be in WA as we are going really well with our numbers... fingers crossed that it stays that way!
Oh and Pubs & Clubs are back open, I enjoyed a really nice lunch with a friend last week!!

You have come from Kelly’s  page this week

So here is the next (and last weekly) theme that Kelly has set for us and it is "Change"
This is another one to think about as it can have so many different meanings....
I went along the change in colour and change in how old someone could be...
So rainbow "changing" glimmer paper and Happy Birthday combined it is!!

This particular card you pull down on the "tab" on the side to change the colours in the butterfly...

Another change in the colours.... It is such a pretty card (not a lot of products used) and a little time consuming too but well worth it!

  • Stamps: Itty Bitty Birthdays
  • Ink: Stayzon
  • Card: Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Rainbow Glimmer
  • Tools: Butterfly Beauty Dies with a Die Cutting/Embossing Machine
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals

The Dimensionals - Peony Garden, One Suite Four Ways

Welcome to my blog and to The Dimensionals tutorials

We’re a group of Stamping Friends who offer 3D Paper Craft Tutorials on the 1st day of every month
I am so super excited to be a part of a group of such talented ladies and I pinch myself on how I got here.......

The theme for this month is the gorgeous new Peony Garden Suite - One Suite Four Ways.
A great way of getting more out of your suites.

Unlike many tutorial bundles on offer, you’ll see exactly what you’ll be getting in this bundle as we take you on a mini blog hop with each designer.

This month I again have made another card to be really proud of.
This one I have called my Peony Easel Flip Card.
It is another one of my own designs that I painstakingly and lovingly have made from scratch and a lot of wasted cardstock!

Front View

A little close up of my card.
The sentiment panel is on the very back of the finished card.

Now if you go to check out Bronwyn's clever creation I know you will be amazed!
