“What is ESAD?
 ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and is a facebook group just for Australian and New Zealand Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrators.
 We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends and blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas & friendship and we're always there to help and support each other.

I am using the "Painted Petals" stampset as it is my first play with it.
Here is the Card that I came up with.

This set is really beautiful and I found a sketch on pinterest that I used to make the base of the card.

I really love layering and texture as it makes a card look really lovely.

Stamps: Painted Petals

Ink: Memento Black, Rose Red and Wild Wasabi

Card: Painted Blooms DSP, Blackberry Bliss, Pacific Point, Rose Red, Wild Wasabi and Whisper White

Tools:  2 3/8" Scallop circle punch, 2" Circle punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch and Spring Flowers Textured Impressions embossing folder with the big shot

I pulled out the "You Brighten My Day" saleabration stampset and come up with this.

A pretty simple housewarming card but I think it turned out good.

A sketch again this week

 

 

I have just received Sheltering Tree in the mail and I thought it was a perfect opportunity to ink it up.

 

I thought I would incorporate the circle behind the main square on the sketch together. I am really liking the Painted Blooms DSP as it is just gorgeous.

I had a week off last week and I so missed doing the challenge.

This week it is colours and I immediately had an idea with what i wanted to do!

I am calling this my "gift on a card" card. 

I made a removable bookmark on my card and here it is

I had to take a few pics so you could see how it looks.

I love it! So happy with how it turned out but feeling very tired today as i stayed up till nearly 1 in the morning to do it! I didn't have to but I had the idea and I had to follow through with it!

Stamps: Mums Love, Kinda Eclectic, Butterfly Basics

Ink:  Baked Brown Sugar, Mossy Meadow, Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Soft Suede

Card: Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral, Soft Suede and Baked Brown Sugar

Tools:  1 3/4 scallop circle, 1 3/8 circle, Ornate Tag Topper and Bitty Butterfly punches

Embellishments: Mossy Meadow 3/8" stiched satin ribbon, rhinestone, stapler & dimensionals

A Pretty Colour challenge this week

I did use all colours this week although Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss stamped were so similar that the Rich Razzleberry looks a bit like the Blackberry Bliss.

This is my first play with the lotus blossom which you can earn "FREE" with a $90 order at the moment.

 I really love the way this worked out. The darkest part on the lotus blossom is actually the Rich Razzleberry!

I really enjoyed having the "window" effect on this card.

I turned it into a sympathy card as unfortunately we do need these cards and it did need a little sentiment on the bottom as it looked unfinished.

Ink:  Wild Wasabi, Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red

A sketch again this week 

I thought that I might use some new goodies again (available tomorrow)

Here is what I came up with

 I used the Big Day Stamp Set (available as a freebie through sale-a-bration) with the new chalk inkpads. The background was stamped with the happy birthday from this stampset and Iridescent Ice embossing powder over the top. You may be able to just see it in the photo.

Stamps: Big Day Stampset (saleabration item)

Ink: Versamark, Aquamarine, Rose Coral and Yellow Citrus Chalk Ink Pads (occasions catalogue)

Card: Whisper white, Birthday Bash Specialty DSP (occasions catalogue), Chalkboard paper (occasions catalogue) & Gold foil sheet

Tools:  Stamp a majig, 3/4" circle punch and 1" square punch (for banner) & iridescent ice embossing powder

Embellishments: Thick Bakers Twine & Dimensionals

New goodies on my first card for 2015

Happy new year to you all!

I decided to put a sneaky post up today as I have been playing with some new goodies that will be available in exactly 6 days!!

This is my first card for 2015!

I am pretty happy with how it worked out.

I love this card and my sisters birthday is coming up in a few days. 

She liked it too so I might have to make her one.
