What Will You Stamp? WWYS#144

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 144.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

I am working on cards from my children to their class mates so I have to do 60 in total....

I wanted to not use a traditional green so I opted for Tranquil Tide for the card base.

I love how smaller stamps in a stampset act as a background on a card.
One down, 59 to go.......

Such a cute stampset teamed up with the sheet music to Jingle Bells and a slither of Red Glimmer paper. Simple but elegant!

  • Stamps: Santa's Suit
  • Ink:  Memento Black, Real Red, Crumb Cake and Tranquil Tide
  • Card: Whisper White, Real Red, Tranquil Tide, Red Glimmer and Merry Music Specialty DSP
  • Tools: Layering Circles Framelits and Stitched Framelits with the bigshot
  • Embellishments: Wink of Stella & dimensionals.

Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1700 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

CASEing the Catty Sunday Challenge 154 #CTC154

Gosh it has been a very very very long time since I entered in this challenge!
I have just been a bit time poor lately so I made the time to get on and create for this challenge.

This week we are casing a colouring a project from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue or the 2017 Holiday Catalogue.
You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment.

So I was inspired by the bird on the right in the middle and this is the card that I created using our new Stampin' Blends pens.

Super pretty the background was a quick wash of daffodil delight with a water pen and not worked too hard into the paper as it was just whisper white not watercolour or shimmery paper.
Each flower was coloured and fussy cut then layered onto the card in the semi circle like the original card.

      • Stamps: Colour Me Happy and Sentiment from Best Birds
      • Ink:  Archival Black, Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight
      • Card: Whisper White and Pool Party
      • Tools: Rich Razzleberry, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends
      • Embellishments: Dimensionals and Iridescent Sequins

      What Will You Stamp? 142 #WWYS 142

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 142.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

This is my favourite set in the holiday catalogue!

I am loving the eclipse technique and I recently made these two cards. One for a friends mums 70th birthday last week and the other just because!

I had a class using this set a couple of weeks ago and I stamped a whole A4 sheet up of the gorgeous flower image so I thought I would use it on these cards.

The numbers and letters look great just offset from the main image so the effect of the eclipse works better.

      • Stamps: Painted Harvest, Happy Birthday Gorgeous and Number of Years
      • Ink:  Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Memento Black
      • Card: Whisper White, Early Espresso & Daffodil Delight
      • Tools: Large Numbers Framelits, Large Letters Framelits
      • Embellishments: Wink of Stella, dimensionals.

      ESAD Offstage 2017

I am devastated that I couldn't go over to Melbourne or the Gold Coast for this weekend's Onstage. This time last year I was in Brisbane with my mum for an awesome week getting ready to do my presentation. (and Packing my dacks too)

Anyway enough reminiscing and sulking that I can not be over there my friend Richelle Fletcher has organised an Offstage group full of challenges etc..

The first challenge is by Rachael Lewsley (my awesome and creative downline)
      It is a sketch challenge

This is my take on the sketch

Next on the agenda was to tell a story about a crafting disaster.... There were lots but my favourite was my friend Dawn Fergusons "I was demonstrating for a class just after we got the new inkpads and was showing a new lady how to open one. The lid flew off straight across the table and landed ink side down in front of another lady! Fortunately they had not yet received their card packs and it only inked up the grid paper. Kinda embarrassing, especially when I had to google how to put it back together!"

Rebecca McHaffie then challenged us to find inspiration in a piece of clothing... I took a picture of my friends daughters outfit a few months ago with the intention of making something using the picture as inspiration.... here is my perfect opportunity.

It is so so pretty so I used Flamingos and the colours on the material.

      Such a cute outfit!

I whipped out the two flamingo sets that I have to do this - the background was the water image in the Fabulous Flamingo set and the actual flamingo and leaf are from the Pop of Paradise set.

Saturday morning was story time - Did you find Stampin' Up! or did Stampin' Up! find you?
this is my story - Well it crossed my path when it first came to Aus... I had a party and fell in 💗 with it. I had the attitude oh well there's already a demo, two in one town will be too many so left it at that. A year or so later that demo opened a shop in town so she was no longer allowed to be a demo, I thought about it and still wasn't sure so a couple more years passed and I had a friend in the Northern Territory who did it as a hobby.. so I signed up in Saleabration and never looked back!!

Next up is my challenge, I encouraged the girls to use their embossing paste on a project and used this picture of a card that I made for inspiration using Lift Me Up.

I added a bit of Dazzling Details to the paste for a glittery effect on the clouds.

Dawn Fergusons challenge is up next -
I challenge you to make a simple Christmas Card that can be made in 10-15 mins with a Wow factor.
hmmmm 10 - 15 mins that's the challenge for me....

Here it is... The pic didn't come out quite how I wanted it but it still looks ok....
      My Beachy little Christmas card

What Is next?? ok Richelle posted What is your Stampin' Up! dream - of course mine is to achieve an incentive trip one day!

I then threw in a curly challenge -  use your initials (mine are NJW) and find colours to use with your initials - mine are Night of Navy, (there is nothing J so I went the next closest letter for a colour - Island Indigo and W is Wisteria Wonder

I love this Magical Mermaid Card

I must say that this has been one of the most productive weekends I have ever had!

Next up was a question what is your all time favourite never gonna part with product?
Well I must say my big shot is my all time favourite product and I love it!

      Richelle set a Christmas 3D challenge!! Make a 3D object/ decoration with a 3D theme....
This one is the only challenge I did not complete as I had a party to go to on Sunday so I didn't have time. But I must say it was an amazing weekend of creating I am so glad I joined in the fun!

Welcome from our guest designer Megan's gorgeous project, I love how we all come up with different ideas and creations with the colour swatches.
This week are Rose Packer's colours.

Such pretty colours and I think I might have to make something pretty.......
      Here it is!

Back to making something a little more feminine.
I like using a stamp from the main image for stamping around the background to give it a bit more depth.

      • Stamps: Sentiment from Happy Birthday Gorgeous and Wild About Flowers
      • Ink: Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red, Peekaboo Peach and So Saffron
      • Card: Whisper White, Rose Red and Soft Sky
      • Tools: Classic Label Punch
      • Embelishments: Dimensionals, Copper Ribbon
