Colour INKspiration 30 #CI30

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1850 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

WA Demo Retreat Day

Western Australia Demonstrator Retreat Day March 18th 2018

How did it all come about????
Well Kelly and I wanted to do a demo catchup somewhere inbetween where she lives "Bunbury" and where I live "Waikiki"
We had been throwing the idea around a lot and Kelly said "right pick a date" so the 18th of March was decided on. Where we originally wanted to have it was Preston Beach and it was going to cost a fortune to hire a room and they wanted us to get catering too.....

Kelly and I

"Lets go inland then" Kelly said so Waroona it was and a brilliant little spot at the Senior Citizens Centre was decided on.... Next was who should come along??? We put it out there to our demo friends and it filled ever so fast!

We kept the cost down and included morning and afternoon tea and suggested to the girls to bring their lunch.
Any leftover money from the day was put into prize patrol and every person went home with something.

Everyone was to make up 12 kits for the day and they would each go home with 12 different cards.

This is my card

The card needed to be able to be put together in a 20 minute time allocation.

We all had a wonderful day and hopefully we will all do it again soon....

  • Stamps: Delightful Daisy
  • Ink:  Early Espresso, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo and Blushing Bride
  • Card: Whisper White, Early Espresso and Melon Mambo
  • Tools: Leaves Punch
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals
