Global Design Project #GDP149 meets The Paper Players Challenges #PP403

This week is a colour challenge and I can not, not make a card with these they are some of my faves!

&

and throw in a gorgeous sketch

This week I was looking through different challenges and fell in love with both of these.
They looked to me like they would work perfectly together and this is what I made.

So so pretty!

The main "tag" panel is mounted on dimensionals so it pops up from the base panels.
The repetitive stamping onto the smaller panels, sponge daubing around the outside and the use the subtle embossing folder on the Bermuda Bay background panel gives the whole card a bit of texure.

  • Stampset: Botanical Bliss
  • Ink: Bermuda Bay, Lovely Lipstick and Night of Navy
  • Card: Whisper White, Lovely Lipstick, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy and Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper
  • Tools: Stitched Labels Framelits, Botanical Tags Thinlits and the Subtle Embossing folder with the bigshot as well as sponge daubers
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals & Lovely Lipstick 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon
  • #GDP149
  • #PP403

Colour INKspiration 38 #CI38

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1900 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

This week you have hopped over from Bronwyn

We have a gorgeous new bundle available next month.
Lucky I have had the chance to purchase it early and have a little play with it!
It is called Blended Seasons.

These colours look great with this set.

The flowers are finished off with a watercolour paint look and fussy cut from the main image.

  • Stamps: Blended Seasons and Sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings
  • Ink: Black Stayz on, Berry Burst, Grey Granite and Powder Pink
  • Card: Whisper White, Basic Black, Grey Granite, Velum, Powder Pink, Champagne Foil and In Colour 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper 2017-2019

SUOnly Challenges #SUCO204

I have been creating a little bit lately and came across SU Only Challenges again.
I have made a card once before for this challenge but the theme this fortnight is create a card or any other paper-crafted project celebrating YOUR favourite Stampin' Up! products...…
Now this is a hard one.... I love ALL the products so how could I possibly choose??

Ok so there is a new bundle coming out next month and I have been playing with it quite a bit.
I will use my latest card from that.

Addinktive Designs Z-Fold Tutorial Card

Where do I start?
Friend and fellow card maker Bronwyn Eastley has invited me over to test out her tutorials!
I feel a bit special knowing the talent that she has creating for her and I have finally whipped up my first card. (please go easy on me)

The Tutorial I have used is called the "Mermaid Baby Crib Z-Fold Card"
As you can see I didn't do a crib/ cot or mermaids.
The great thing about Bronwyns tutorials is that you can use them for the base of your card and then do whatever you like decorating them. In this instance I used the Sea of Textures stampset and did an aquarium/ fish tank instead of the cot/ crib.

The tutorial for this card can be found here!

  • Stamps: Sea of Textures
  • Ink: Night of Navy & Tranquil Tide
  • Card: Balmy Blue, Soft Seafoam, Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig, Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Vellum, silver foil and Tranquil Textures DSP
  • Tools: Under The Sea Framelits with the Bigshot and the Classic Label Punch
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals

Just Add Ink 418 #JAI418

Just Add Ink Challenge #418

This weeks challenge is a colour challenge.
I saw the colours and knew what set I wanted to use.

Healing Hugs.
Such a pretty set and the colour combo was perfect for this card.

I did use my stamparatus on the 3 panels and stamped exactly the same pattern on each so that when they were cut they lined up with each other.
(I now have 3 panels to make 3 cards with )
Dimensionals give the rose flower a bit of 3D dimension on the card.

  • Stamps: Healing Hugs
  • Ink:  Soft Seafoam, Blushing Bride and Daffodil Delight
  • Card: Whisper White, Soft Seafoam, Daffodil Delight and Blushing Bride
  • Tools: Stitched Squares & Stitched Labels framelits as well as the Tufted Dynamic Embossig Folder with the bigshot, Stamparatus and Daffodil Delight, Blushing Bride and Soft Seafoam Stampin' Write markers
  • Embellishments:  Dimensionals & Rhinestones

Buy 3, Get 1 FREE! Blog Hop

Welcome to yet another wonderful ESAD blog hop!
I am so lucky to be in this group of talented demonstrators (friends) and I hope that you enjoy all our projects using new products from the current Annual Catalogue.

This blog hop is based on this months Designer Series Paper special of Buy 3 and Get 1 FREE!

You have hopped on over from Siobhan's stunning name board for her daughter.

I am loving the Tropical Escape Papers (actually I am loving everything that goes with the DSP)

I started off with just strips of paper for the background on this card.

But that's a bit boring how about doing a bargello technique to spice things up!
It's a little time consuming sticking the strips down then cutting them and slightly moving so the images form a different pattern... There are so many different ways of doing it and perfect to showcase our beautiful Designer Series Papers!

  • Stamps: Tropical Chic & sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings
  • Ink:  Shaded Spruce, Blushing Bride and Granny Apple Green
  • Card: Blushing Bride, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White and Tropical Escape DSP stack
  • Tools: Stitched Circles & Tropical Thinlits with the bigshot
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals, wink of stella & Rhinestones
