Colour INKspiration 67 #CI67

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 2000 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

Hello from Rose's project

I really love this colour combo together and I had the perfect stampset to use with it!
Perfect for man cards.

The brick folder and birch stampset are great on the background of this card and they don't detract from the main image.
The man and the little girl themselves are coloured in Stampin' Blends and the clothing that they are wearing is paper pieced in the colours of the challenge. I love how it turned out.
It reminds me of myself as a little girl (but my dad used to have curly hair now he is pretty bald lol)

Come on over and join us in this challenge, they are fun and awesome to do!

  • Stamps: Birch and a Good Man
  • Ink: Memento Black, Pacific Point and Balmy Blue
  • Card: Whisper White, Balmy Blue, Pear Pizzaz, Pacific Point and Merry Merlot
  • Tools: Stitched Nested Dies & Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder with a Die Cutting Machine as well as Ivory, Light Daffodil Delight and Bronze Stampin' Blends
  • Embellishments: Dimensional

Now back to the beginning of the hop to the Lovely Lou to see what she made.

  1. Totally in love with this card neat and crisp and clean

  2. Just fabulous. Love the combo of the bricks and birch. And such perfect paper piecing. Very clever.

  3. I like the strong colours with the male-ness of the card. Love the texture you've included too.

  4. What a great masculine card. Love the backgrounds. x

  5. I soooo love this stamp set. What I really like is how you teamed it up with the Brickwall embossing folder and Birch background stamp. Love all this texture!

  6. What a fabulous use of these colours. Your paper piecing is perfect, I wish I could do that!! I esepcailly love the brick background, it gives a great pop of texture without being distracting.
