Colour INKspiration 102 #CI102

Welcome to Colour Inkspiration!

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.

Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.

I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.

Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 2300 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –

The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.

Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a post on their blogs.

Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.

If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

Colour INKspiration 102

I have always loved a pink and gray/ grey colour scheme together!

Using the textured paste, coloured with Basic Gray and Smokey Slate re-inkers to colour the paste to make an ombre Grey textured background I then slathered it over the new triangle mask from the Plenty of Patterns Decorative Mask set with a palette knife. I purposely made it so it was chunky and textured. Who wants a perfectly smooth background using texture paste? Not me!

I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Remember to upload your cards to our facebook group here!

• Stamps: Pansy Punch (sentiment)
• Ink: Basic Gray, Smokey Slate and Polished Pink
• Card: Basic White, Basic Gray, Polished Pink and Vellum
• Tools: Painted Labels & Brilliant Wings Dies with a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks & Palette knife
• Embellishments: - Dimensionals, Embossing Paste and Gold Simply Elegant Trim

Just Add Ink 559 #JAI559

Just Add Ink Challenge #559

This weeks challenge is a just add two challenge

I have decided to go with Stitching and Stripes for my card

This card didn't have any stamping bar the sentiment!

Dies can make a card really pop and using patterned DSP to cut the shapes from just add that little bit of texture to it. Both the leaves and flowers were cut out of the Expressions In Ink DSP.

I really love the pop of gold in these papers, it adds elegance to the card.

• Stamps: Hand Penned Petals

• Ink: Versamark
• Card: Basic White, Basic Black, Polished Pink, Pattern Party and Expressions In Ink DSP
• Tools: Stitched Rectangles and Penned Flowers Dies as well as Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder with a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, White Stampin' Emboss Powder and a heat tool
• Embellishments:  Dimensionals and Matt Black Dots

Global Design Project 296 #GDP296

Hi Everyone I have been a bit MIA lately as I have just spent the last 6 months studying Aged Care.

I can tell you it is a total eye opener but it is a very rewarding course to do.

This week I have decided to jump back into some creating and saw this pretty card by Emma Goddard. It was case the designer so this is what I came up with along the lines of Emmas card.

I decided to go against the strips of paper and incorporate the colour with using daubers and blending brushes for the same sort of effect.

I did try to use the same colours that Emma used along the side of her card but when using ink it does show up alot darker than the cardstock pieces.

The white piece was stamped with the Shaded Summer flowers randomly with the Smokey Slate Ink and it was finished off with a white embossed sentiment on black cardstock cut out with a die from Hippo and Friends.

• Stamps: Shaded Summer and Friends are like Seashells
• Ink: Smokey Slate, Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight, Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Versamark
• Card: Basic White and Basic Black
• Tools:  Hippo & Friends Dies with a Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, White Embossing Powder with a heat tool. Sponge Daubers and Blending Brushes
• Embellishments: Dimensionals, White Bakers Twine, Pool Party sheer ribbon  & Blue Adhesive Backed Gems

ESAD New Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Welcome to yet another wonderful ESAD blog hop!

I am so lucky to be in this group of talented demonstrators (friends) and I hope that you enjoy all our projects using new products from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue

You have either started with myself or come from my lovely friend Sharni's project

To be honest I really haven't had much time to create at the moment. I have been doing work placement in aged care and I must say those lovely people are so underpaid for what they do.

They are amazing!

I whipped up something simple but with a favourite new product from the Annual Catalogue.

Here it is the new Bloom Where You're Planted Designer Series paper (the whole bundle is gorgeous!)

Such a super simple card pretty much just using the papers (fussy cut of course!) and one stamp from the Artistically Inked Set!

• Stamps: Artistically Inked
• Ink:  Evening Evergreen
• Card: Basic White, Evening Evergreen and Bloom Where You're Planted DSP
• Tools: None
• Embellishments: - Dimensionals, Linen Thread and 2021-2023 In-colour Jewells

The Dimensionals - Our Favourites

Welcome to my blog and to The Dimensionals tutorials and we are now into our second year creating great 3D tutorials for you.

We’re a group of Stamping Friends who offer 3D Paper Craft Tutorials on the 1st day of every month!

I am so super excited to be a part of a group of such talented ladies and I pinch myself on how I got here.......

The theme for this month is Our Favourite Bundle that we have written since the beginning.

This is my

Birthday Double Flower Box Card

Closed (front of card)

Inside to show the double flower boxes. I am so proud of this card as it is a fold that I created just over a year ago. I have seen it reproduced but not totally the way that I make the planter boxes (and with no credit too which is a little disappointing).
