I felt I wanted to do something a little different this week.
I hadn't tried a magic slider card yet so I gave it a go.
Here it is

I used some new products that will be available in a few weeks time.
What a fiddly card this was I think one of the most fiddliest I have EVER made!!

Here is it partly pulled out

I like how it worked and it matched the sketch just right.
Let me know what you think of it :-)

  • Card: Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Clear Window sheet, Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush (upcoming annual catalogue new in colours)

Card Craft Classes

As some of you may be aware I have a small group of ladies who meet up once a month for card classes.

This month we made two cards and the first card was a side stepper card made with the
flower patch bundle.
It is one of my all time favourite cards that I have made.

Here it is

The second card was totally cased from Heidi Boos found on pinterest. I loved the simplicity of it.

We usually make a card that is a little involved and then the second project is easier. If you are interested in coming along and you are in the Rockingham area please flick me an e-mail on branickwilson@bigpond.com

We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends and blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas & friendship and we're always there to help and support each other.
So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to leave me a comment with your email address then I'll contact you with information on how to join our group.

Well here we are nearing the end of this years catalogue and sadly there are some amazing items retiring.
You have come from Rebeccas page

Here is my first card it is prettier in real life as the colours are more subtle.

I thought I would feature some retiring in colours - Crisp Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar and Pistachio Pudding. The main stampset Too Kind is also retiring as well as the dictionary background stamp.

Here is my second card

There are a few items on this card that are retiring and they are:
Flamingo Lingo Stampset
Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush in Colours
Top Note Bigz Die
Delicate Designs Embossing Folder

Inspire, Create, Share - Convention 2015

Wow I just arrived home from an awesome convention on the Gold Coast. The weather went from this

to this - simply stunning

This was the view from our hotel The Meriton Broadbeach. They are beautiful apartments.
I did have wonderful company too.
Here are my roomies

Pictured here Renae Crosby, Kelly Ryan, myself and Patty Wunder

Our roomie gifts from Renae were these amazing t-shirts. No we are not team members but great friends who got together and made up our own little group!

I took the midnight horror from Perth (which I swore I would never ever do again) and then went to Leadership and Managers Reception to Outback Spectacular.

Back to our hotel where I think I would have snored like a trooper as I was so tired.

Up the next day for convention! We had general sessions, make and takes, swaps, socializing, new products, compensation plans, more socializing, awards night, after party, prize patrol, all attendee give aways, more socializing, dinners and a bit more socializing over the next 3 days.

It's all a bit of a blur now but I love this special time with other talented demos from all over Australia and New Zealand. I always feel a bit sad leaving.

Here are a few more pics of the trip
