This is possibly the last post for me for a few months as I am having some time out with my little family which I am very much looking forward to.

As soon as I saw this stamp in the catalogue it was another I "NEEDED".
I have been looking for a caravan stamp for such a long time and finally here it is!

We have just bought a caravan so I thought that this would just be perfect for my card.

Sketch week again

I was lucky to receive a fantastic box full of goodies on Friday so I thought I would have a little play with them for this weeks challenge.

I am officially in love with the new set No Bones about it!! It was the first stampset that I saw in the new catalogue at convention and I thought "I must have that! no I really NEED that"

Here is the card I came up with

A few things about this card. I did use framelits but the size wasn't quite what I had in mind so I drew around one of the smaller ones and then cut it out and placed it on a punched out piece of black card.
The sentiment I did also fussy cut the blue surround as again there wasn't a framelit quite the right size for what I needed.
The jute at the bottom I cut in half so it wasn't so wide.

Hello from the amazingly talented Alisons page 

Colours this week

I have been thinking about this challenge and how I could "kill two birds with one stone"
Stampin' Up! has set a demonstrator only punch art challenge this month so I thought I could incorporate these colours into the challenge.

Here it is

A pretty funky card I think.
A little time consuming sticking all the little hearts from the border punch onto the card, but I am happy with the result.

• Stamps: Groovy Love (part of one of the sentiment stamps)
• Card:  Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Watermelon Wonder and Night of Navy
  
• Tools: Sweetheart and Hearts Border Punches, Basic Black and Watermelon Wonder stampin' write markers

A sketch week

I thought I would use a couple of the new in colours together again. I haven't bought anything from the catalogue as yet so I don't have any new sets to play with (shock horror). I should be getting an order in the next few weeks as I did do an exchange so fingers crossed the turnaround is quick.

I used two colours for the main card this week and enjoyed doing a bit of emboss resist for the leaves background.

A nice and simple card that can be used for a variety of different events.

Time certainly flys when you are having fun!! Week 35 wow!!

Gorgeous Colours this week new ones too!!

I am really loving using the new in colours but it has taken a little time for me to get used to them

Here is my card for this week

I am super happy with how it worked out. Sometimes things just work :-)
It was quite a simple card and using the little stamps from the new Ronald McDonald House Charity stampset "Sprinkles of Life" it just made a lovely background.
The banner was popped up with two dimensionals on top of each other and glued down at the ends
so it has dimension.

• Stamps: Sprinkles of Life 
  
• Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron
• Card:  Tip Top Taups, Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Whisper White
  
• Tools: Banner Triple and Tree Builder Punches, Fun Frames Embossing Folder with the Bigshot and sponge daubers for distressing edges
  
• Embellishments: Dimensionals
