What Will You Stamp 183? #WWYS183

What Will you Stamp Challenge number 183.
I hope that you like what I can come up with for these awesome challenges.
I hope more of you join in with these great stampset challenges as they are fun!

This set is very limited and will not be available after the end of this month.

I have made so many cards with the floral stamp in this set, I set myself a challenge to make a card with something else.

A Christmas Card it is!

Simple but effective.
I coloured the Holly with Stampin' Blends in Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler and fussy cut them out to adhere onto the front of the card.
It is a little hard to tell but I used the smallest framelit in the Stitched seasons on the side of the front panel (under the sentiment) and flipped it over.

  • Stamps: Blended Seasons
  • Ink:  Black Memento
  • Card: Whisper White, Grey Granite, Watercolour and Joyous Noel Specialty DSP (avail in September)
  • Tools: Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Light and Dark, Stampin' Blends and Stitched Shapes Framelits with the bigshot.
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals & Wink of Stella

Colour INKspiration 40 #CI40

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1900 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

I really love the richness of these colours...

I found measurements on a facebook page but they didn't seem to work that well.... I have adjusted for my card.

A previous product is coming back in the Holiday Catalogue that I am in love with - Shimmer Paint.
Here I added it to a spritzer with some rubbing alcohol and sprayed over the whole project.
It is so shimmery in real life.

ESAD Colour Your Season Blog Hop

Welcome to yet another wonderful ESAD blog hop!
I am so lucky to be in this group of talented demonstrators (friends) and I hope that you enjoy all our projects using the new bundle available this month only .

You have hopped on over from Libby.

I am loving this set so much as soon as I signed up for this hop I knew exactly what I was making.

I grabbed the tutorial from Addinktive Designs, used the base of the card and added another panel for a bit more dimension.

There are a lot of pictures in this post as there are quite a few different layers to the card and this is the only way to be able to show it all.
The Blended Seasons Stampset is so versatile but I am drawn to the floral image more than the others in the set!

  • Stamps: Blended Seasons
  • Ink:  Stayzon and Rich Razzleberry
  • Card: Rich Razzleberry, Watercolour Paper and Tea Room Specialty DSP
  • Tools: Stitched Seasons Framelits with the bigshot and watercolour pencils with an aqua brush
  • Embellishments: -

My Baby has just turned 6!!

Here we are in August already!
This year is flying by, which brings me to this post.
My baby turned 6 on the 14th of this month and I can not believe how quickly those 6 years have passed. It feels like we moved yesterday and he was just starting to walk.

I didn't take my good camera to his little birthday party after school but I did take a few pics on my SE iPhone. The quality isn't all that great but if you don't try to enlarge your photos then they are fine.

I converted the photos to black and white to go nicely on this page.
(Plus he was still in his uniform so he wasn't that well dressed for the occasion.)

I seriously really need to get myself sorted out and scrapbook more.
The kids are growing way way to fast an I am just not getting it done!!
(as you can tell I really am more of a cardmaker than a scrapbooker!)

  • Stamps: Timeless Textures, Swirly Frames, Swirly Bird, Make a Difference, Labeler Alphabet, Pick a Pennant
  • Ink: White Craft, Memento, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Bermuda Bay
  • Card: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Sparkle Glimmer and Tropical Escape DSP stack
  • Tools: Celebrate You Thinlits with the bigshot & Shimmery White Embossing paste with the Brick Decorative Mask.
  • Embellishments: Frost White Shimmer Paint (coming soon) sprayed over the background.
