Colour INKspiration 40 #CI40

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.
Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.
I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.
Click here to join the Facebook page which now has over 1900 members and see what it’s all about.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –
The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.
If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

I really love the richness of these colours...

I found measurements on a facebook page but they didn't seem to work that well.... I have adjusted for my card.

A previous product is coming back in the Holiday Catalogue that I am in love with - Shimmer Paint.
Here I added it to a spritzer with some rubbing alcohol and sprayed over the whole project.
It is so shimmery in real life.

  • Stamps: Flourishing Phrases
  • Ink: Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive and Early Espresso
  • Card: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive, Wood Textures DSP Stack and Champagne Foil Sheet
  • Tools:  Flourish Thinlets with the bigshot,
  • Embellishments: Dimensionals, Clear Faceted Gem & Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint

Next up is Julia's great card.

  1. What a stunner of a card. Love the wood textures. Love the fold. Love the shimmer.

  2. Nic this card is so beautiful ... what a great little fold too. I must try this one for sure.

  3. Lovely card Nicole, and its so good to have Shimmer paint back.

  4. Whoah! This is a fabulous design Nicole, although it makes my brain hurt thinking about all of those scores and Your execution is perfect! xx

  5. I love this so much that I want to recreate it. Beautiful, Nicole. D xox

  6. Beautiful card Nicole, you have put such a lot of work into this project with all those mats and layers and gorgeous stamping. The woodgrain is a perfect backdrop for your flower and works really well for a sympathy card. Looks like an amazing fold as well. Such a lot of love in this which is what a sympathy card should be. Lovely
