ESAD 2019 Holiday Catalogue Sneak Peek

Welcome to yet another wonderful ESAD blog hop!

I am so lucky to be in this group of talented demonstrators (friends) and I hope that you enjoy all our projects using items from the amazing Occasions and Saleabration catalogues .

I instantly fell in love with the stars from the new catalogue and I had to have them so they were first on my pre- order.....

I decided to do something a little different this hop and attempt to make some sort of Triple Easel Card. It took a bit of fiddling around but I finally made something I was happy with.

It does fold flat to go into an envelope which is a bonus.

I have so many ideas swimming around in my head for this gorgeous bundle so stay tuned for more to come!

• Card: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Copper Foil and Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper
• Tools: Stitched Stars & Stitched Rectangles Dies as well as Swirls and Curls Embossing folder with a die cutting machine and Copper Embossing Powder

I did purchase a few things in the preorder and so I made a second card (only today mind you so I have had to quickly take pics and load up)

Another triple easel card that was actually hard to photograph but aren't the Elves so super cute??

Again I based this on my previous card and measurements to get the triple fold and then decorated with the Elves that have been coloured in with Stampin' Blends and a bit of the Ice Stampin' Glitter added.

Just Add Ink Challenge #470

This weeks challenge is

Oh my goodness no stamping!! 

This one really is a challenge but if you don't think about it too hard it really isn't that difficult as we have so so many beautiful papers available to us!

I finally caved and bought the Bird Ballad Designer Series papers and boy I am so glad that I did!

Combined with the bird ballad Laser- cut cards & tin kit as well as magnolia lane memories and more cards, my gosh it is gorgeous!

I used the Thank You from one of the Magnolia Lane memories and more small 3" x 4" cards and flipped it to place under the laser cut card front so there was no waste. 

Afterwards I then placed a piece of pool party cardstock to make the background and match in with the bird on the card. I think it is lovely.

Colour INKspiration 61 #CI61

What is Colour INKspiraton? – a Facebook based bi-monthly colour challenge.

Anyone with Facebook can join in.  You don’t need a blog and you don’t need to be a demonstrator.

I have joined in these challenges and love them as Colour challenges for me are actually a real challenge.

Here’s some of the basic details about the challenge –

The Colour INKspiration Crew! consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.

Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.

Then you have a 12 day period to upload your own creations using the colours provided.

If you have a blog, feel free to link back to it, but all entries will be via Facebook.  The design team will select 5 projects to be ‘design team picks’ and then the Facebook group will select an overall winner from this shortlist.

I sat on these colours for ages and only yesterday (yes yesterday) something finally popped into my head.
It turned out quite lovely...

We seem to forget about masks and the pretty embossing paste that we can add a couple of drops of reinker to, to get the desired colour..... so sparkly and shimmery...

I have used two new items coming next month on this card.... can you spot what they are??

TIP: sentiments don't have to stay together, fussy cut them apart after stamping for a different look on your card.

TGIF Challenge 224 #TGIF224

This week the challenge is 

It's my sons birthday today. My baby is 7!

Happy Birthday Logan.....

He might be 7 but he still loves dinosaurs.....

When he opened it  he said WOW mum! 

Its really shiny and the Dino has a bit of wink of stella on him but I find shimmery doesn't photograph well..

I based this card on the sketch but changed up the rectangle shape to the star (who says the sketch has to be exact!) and where the rhinestones are flipped it so the smaller stars highlight the main image. 

I was lucky to receive some new goodies this week that are coming soon so I had to have a play.

Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! (#AWLSU036)

This challenge was show us what you have recently made... 

To be honest I haven't made a lot lately as my craft room is STILL not able to be fully used!! Its a right pain in the behind... I have however made a few bits and bobs but haven't blogged them yet.

I am really loving the new dinosaur stampset in the annual catalogue.

This was such a simple effective card to make and the background is just an ink and watercolour wash on watercolour paper.
