I used this challenge as inspiration to make a birthday card for a lovely mum from school.
I did a bit of a happy mistake (there isn't really mistakes in cardmaking) but I debossed the image which I quite like on a patchwork style card.
I also Embossed the Happy in white embossing powder for the sentiment.

The colours are really striking Nicole and wow the texture is amazing! I love how you puzzle pieced all the rectangles into the base panel! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. Kim
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely colour combination Nicole and I love the effect of the reverse embossed sides and all nestled into their places within the card base. So clever! Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.
ReplyDeleteA fun way to add embossing. I like how you have used the reverse empression (which we don't often do) but it is very effective and makes me want to feel the card. Chantell Just Add Ink
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the embossing on the individual pieces - very clever! Thanks for sharing your project with us for the Just Add Ink challenge. Kelly x
