Hello and welcome to the weekly Social Stamping Blog Hop with so many talented crafters around the world joining in.
My friend Kelly Kent is the mastermind behind this and she put the group together to share our creations in a time where we are all social distancing and many are in isolation. It is a very unnerving time for a lot of people as some have medical issues and loved ones who are compromised and can not afford to get ill. Creating is my sanity at the moment as I am a pretty social person and these past few months have been a little bit of a struggle.
We just had a long weekend here in WA so I went away with my family, mum, stepdad, sisters and families. It was a lovely weekend at Alexander Bridge near Margaret River/ Augusta. We even got to catch up with my beautiful cousin and her family on their farm.
So here is the next theme that Kelly has set for us and it is "New/ Normal"
Well there isn't really much normal happening just yet but I do have a date my daughter and I are going back to play netball and my son has a date for Auskick which is a bit exciting.

You have come from Michelle's page this week
I have fallen in love with these papers and I wanted them to be the main focus on this card.
I keep forgetting about the Memories and More stickers and they just finish off this card perfectly.
The Tasteful Dies are perfect for layering over each other! I cut the base label and fliped it over to get the green pattern for the bottom of this layered stack and I fussy cut around the foil to get a border on the top sentiment die.
- Stamps: Sentiment from Lovely You
- Ink: Melon Mambo
- Card: Whisper White, Magenta Madness, Silver Foil and Flowers for Every Season DSP
- Tools: Tasteful Labels Dies with a Die Cutting/Embossing Machine

Next up is my friend Liz so go check out her gorgeous project.
Yay! You’ve got a date for netball and your son for Auskick. That’s exciting. Beautiful card. It showcases the DSP beautifully and those stickers do finish the card off beautifully.
ReplyDeleteAfter school / weekend activities are the only thing we're still waiting to hear about. Until then, I'm enjoying the extra time to spend at home (or sleep in!). Gorgeous card - that DSP is a favourite of mine too, so bright and happy! Kelly x
ReplyDeleteThis DSP is so gorgeous-I need to add it to my stash and use it!
ReplyDeleteThe foil edge is glorious! Love the layering for your greeting - it's just perfect for the amazing papers and the sticker is brilliant. Love it all.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great vibrant card. Lovely use of layers and the foil is a perfect way to highlight your greeting.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad for you that you're getting back to more of the normal stuff that you've been missing (I'm an introvert so I've loved this isolation!!). Also glad that you aren't forgetting your crafty time and are making beautiful cards like this. You've absolutely made the hero that beautiful paper but all your other details are gorgeous, too. I always forget those M&M stickers, thanks for the reminder about them!
